This is the place to go to just get away in nature and relax. Everything one needs is there and the staff is top notch. They do need to offer better dining options. This part is crazy making. The resort is family oriented, kids are happy and have lots to do, the fire pits are so beautiful, the golf course is excellent, the spa is wonderful. BUT DINING? Come on… We love it there - open up your nightly Buffett, again.

Getting ahold of the front desk is nearly impossible. When you call the main number it goes straight to reservations who tells you to call the main number and push zero. When you do this it still goes to reservations. This happened multiple times at different times of the day.
The toilet paper in this hotel is about as cheap as you can get. For a hotel of this caliber, I would expect more.
It took a bit to figure out how to turn the lights off that come on under the bed.
Valet service was excellent, just pricey.

We have very bad experience it took us two hours to check in. The staff is not helpful in the front desk. They don’t give us the right to. I’m not happy and I will not recommend it to anybody to stay totally with kids. They will rule your vacation.

We have been to this property several times both in summer and fall. Love the outdoors. The pool is heated. Grounds are well maintained, beds very comfortable. The dining options are good. Gym is big. Definitely a great option for a quick getaway close to big cities in Texas.

Arrived at the hotel only to receive a piece of paper informing us that due to a broken pipe - ALL the pools are closed, there are hot water issues in rooms (no hot showers or baths) and restaurants aren't operating normally due to the water issues. We were offered a $20 voucher to the coffee shop to make up for these issues. Are you kidding? We immediately booked a different hotel. These issues should have been communicated to us PRIOR to arriving at the hotel. Will not return.

We did not have any hot water to take showers for both nights. A water pipe Brust on the pool, so we did not have any pool service and the fire pit by our room did not have any propane gas so we couldn’t light it.
It was not a good stay! Did not enjoy, especially at that price!
