It was a good place for me to do my paranormal experiments and exercise ESP etc it's a good place to block out noise and only letting the noise you want make sure if you're trying to astral project etc precognition and the Japanese are partially known for it so yeah thanks

The bathrooms are shared, but the toilets are individual rooms rather than shared stalls, which was a pleasant surprise!! Very close to a lot of delicious food and attractions. We would absolutely stay here again!

Outdated building. Due to not having an AC The room was extremely hot all night. The bathroom and shower was down the hall, which was very inconvenient and a little scary for when I had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

If you're on a travel budget, this place is fine. Inexpensive, clean.

It was a nice large room, but one of the bathrooms was leaking water from the toilet onto the floor and there was no ac in the room.

Wow The bed was very small. I had never been in a hotel like that. It's good to have different experiences, but I didn't like this one.

Host unlocked and entered room without knocking at night, after he thought we had left to explore Little Tokyo. When he saw one of us still in the room he lied and said the other had given him our keys. We did not. We would not come back here or feel safe leaving our luggage here. Other minor issues: - On a very loud street at night with thin windows (hard to sleep). - Pillows are very hard. - Single shared toilet. - Ceiling fan and light worked at night but not in morning. Pros: - Good location to access Little Tokyo/DTLA/Union Station - Rooms and bedding seemed clean - Female host in morning was nice and not creepy

The front desk lady was very friendly and it is very safe neighborhood and so many dining options.

Amazing and quaint, super vintage and cute

Small beds no television, shower or restroom in the room, room very small you have to share restroom and shower with everyone else so really uncomfortable pictures online aren’t real.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It’s a very old building but well-kept for how old it is, and in a very cultural hot-spot. It’s also very convenient for walking distances everywhere in little Tokyo town.

It is ok for this price

This is a series of rooms above shops in historic little Tokyo. Almost like a boarding house instead of a traditional hotel. Shared bathroom. No ac (but lots of fans!!). Big Hey Arnold Vibes. The staff is SUPER friendly and courteous. They explained everyone and personally walked me through everything when I checked in. They even gave me a free bottle of cold water when I checked in because it was hot outside. I only stayed 1 night for a work event nearby, it was super convenient to get to and from metro, unhook station, and more. Would definitely stay again for a similar event.

Sharing bathrooms and kitchen might seem odd to some, but I didn’t mind. Sharing the kitchen gave a sense of community.

I really liked Little Tokyo hotel because it felt cozy like home, warm welcoming and friendly staff. Upon arrival staff was helpful and showing us the ammenities. There is no hotel parking but the closest and affordable one was 2minute walk from hotel located in (414 E Temple St.) For $10/day, safe parking. Bathrooms are shared with all guest in hotel but there was no problem with waiting your turn as they have a couple showers and bathrooms available. Overall it is a very safe and affordable hotel and was many food and bar options right outside the hotel.

What I liked about the property was that it was a little cozy place, in the middle of Downtown LA. However, it does find itself in a shady area. Parking is also a challenge as its not included. Its very practical as the rooms are a little on the small end, and bathrooms are shared.
