The property was okay no trash bags in trash cans we only had one face cloth and one bath towel the first night. They took the wash cloth that I had brought with me from home. No microwave in room made it difficult for me as I had knee surgery and had to go to the 1st floor to get my food microwave.

We walked in and the place smelled of rotten eggs. They had a tone of air freshener trying to cover the smell. We proceeded to check in and after they charge cards and done that’s when they say oh and the pool is closed. We rented 2 rooms. It was our daughter’s birthday and we stayed there for the pool. I then expressed that and they were not very nice about it but they offered to cancel the rooms free of charge. However they could have called people to let them know before hand but nobody cares. Luckily the Sheraton down the street still had 5 rooms available. I asked about how long the charge would stay and he said a couple hours. It was last Saturday still being charged and Incalled on Monday and she said wait a couple of days . Yet it’s Friday and still Marriott has holds on money. That can be detrimental to people if funds are low.

the one and only reason I booked this stay was to have an indoor pool for grandkids. After we registered, we were informed the pool was closed for maintenance for 5 days.

I had high expectations for this hotel since it is the Marriott but, I was disappointed. From check in the front desk man was rude. I booked for a king bed room and I went into my room it was not a king room went back to the front desk and he just said give me your key all rude and changed my room to what I thought would now be a king bed room it was not at this point my husband and myself were annoyed so we just kept it. The restroom was horribly dirty the shower floor was black, the art in the wall was all dusty. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in you would sink in the middle plus it had an odd smell. Thank goodness we only stayed one night. In checkout I did let the front desk know about my room not being a king bed room and showed the photos I took of how dirty the shower was and all she did was say sorry didn’t even offer to at least give us a discount since I did pay for a king bed room. Never again will I stay at a Marriott hotel.

After booking at least a month ahead for 4 (two double beds) and paying in full, we arrived to be told there was only a room with a king bed and rollaway. Waited 45 mins to secure a room with double beds. Bed sheet on bed had rips and was torn. Disappointing. Won’t book again.
