I had booked two stays back to back, and had asked if I could be put in the same room “combining” into a two night stay which the person at the desk when I checked in said was fine. But when I returned in the afternoon my card key was inactive. I went to the front desk and they said I was given a new room. But my toiletries bag had been in the previous room and was not found. My new room was an accessible room instead of a regular room. And the bathroom fixtures were rusty. Then at 3:00 am alarms started ringing in the hallway. It woke me up and I looked out, no one was doing anything. I put in noise cancellation headphones to try to limit the alarm but they went on for at least 2 hours. Then at 7:00 am someone was banging on my door. Which was the fire department checking to see if I was alive because what the alarm had been was a carbon monoxide warning. They then proceeded to run 2 turbine fans in the hallway on either side of my door to push the CO out of the building. It sounded like there were multiple leaf blowers. Throughout all of this, ZERO communication from the staff. One of the worst stats I’ve had anywhere.

Thank goodness for staff but this place was terrible. Cracked signs, briken lighting or signage. Just really worn down

Parking lot had no salt and was an ice rink- we almost slid into a parked car as soon as we arrived. Lobby is sparse and depressing. Another guest was complaining to desk about the mice spotted in dining area. Room ( suite with sofa) had damaged furniture, and only one TV so we had to stay in bed to watch anything. No housekeeping service between Dec 22 and Dec 26 Community hot tub was not circulating/ no jets, so little or no water filtration and debris was in water. We have stayed in many Springhill Suites and this reminded me of a tired place with recycled motel furniture. Receptionists were nice.

On the 1st night of check in my wife noticed an asian lady beetle on the desk. I thought it was a lady bug and flushed it. However there were 4 on the ceilng and 3 more that i killed that flew onto the desk. Now if i and my wife were squeamish we would have switched rooms as offered by the staff. To my wifes point probably in more than 1 room. The property manager stated someone would reach out however i did not hear back. On top of the cold pool and whirlpool broken, We really had no other issues. I did take pics and video of the insects however just wanted them to be aware. Let this take nothing from the staff...They were very friendly and polite

Ourroom smelled like something died . We told them they apologized and said they had no more rooms. Others left because of this .I booked another room at the hotel next door . They said since i booked threw 3rd party they couldnt give me a refund but have the 3rd party call and i would get refundedbut when they were called they denied the refund .The clerk said he just returned from his vacation and said he didnt know what was going on .I paid alot of money for a roo. I could.not even use. Very upset.
