I used to work just down the street from The Gotham so was vaguely familiar with it before booking a room for a one night stay. I was running errands and meeting some friends and the central location was perfect. Given the midtown location and tiny lobby it seems to be intended for business travelers but if you’re headed to a Broadway show, Rockefeller Center, 5th Ave shopping, etc it’s a great location. It’s also close to Grand Central and many subway lines so super convenient to get anywhere in the city from here. My room was good size, clean and well designed. I will say that there was a fair amount of street noise and a lot of ambient light even with the blackout shades, so if you’re a light sleeper I’d suggest a higher floor (I was in the 6th floor). Overall no complaints, great service, great location, clean room and super reasonable price. I’d definitely stay here again.

Loved the stay and staff was extremely accommodating- specially because I was there with my Mother and they ensured she was cared for and comfortable the whole stay.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is so central but also quiet and very safe! A few blocks in either direction will get you to Times Square, Grand Central, the theaters, etc. Will absolutely atay here again =)

We had a lovely stay at The Gotham Hotel. It’s a small, boutique type hotel, but we were happy with its location, staff, and cleanliness. Our “suite” was very small, which is common in the city, but we didn’t spend much time in our room anyway, and we had the coolest balcony. Had we been there during spring or summer, that would have been a space we could spend more time using. It was too cold or rainy to sit out there long in the winter, but we wanted to! It was a cool little space with a nice view. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We had brunch at the restaurant on the property. It was good, but nothing to write home about. All in all, I would 100% recommend this hotel and would stay here again the next time we visit The Big Apple, both for cleanliness, staff, and convenience of its location.

We loved our stay at The Gotham Hotel! The staff is friendly and helpful. We arrived an hour before the check-in time and our room was ready! We had a beautiful room on 16th floor. The room was large for NYC standards and had a wonderful terrace overlooking W46th street. The mattress was wonderful and the shower was spectacular! We loved that there were robes and slippers provided. We were given $20 to use for the mini bar in the room only. I was under the impression we could use that in the bar in the restaurant. We could not. The restaurant located in the hotel is not owned by the hotel and is independent. It is a small restaurant. We did not eat in the restaurant. One late night we wanted a pizza delivered and asked the staff for suggestions. They were not very helpful in this regard so we ended up finding delivery by using Grub Hub. We would stay here again! We had a magical stay in December and highly reccommend the Gotham Hotel!
