When I checked in, the check in manager told me breakfast was included and free in my booking and confirmed it two times. However, after I finished my breakfast, I was informed that I had to pay for it. The check-in manager confirmed that it was his mistake to inform me wrongly and the staff insisted me to pay for the breakfast. I accepted to pay because I don't want to argue with them. However, this service is very unprofessional when staff makes mistake and ask client to pay for it. Additionally, when I arrived to check in at 4pm, the first thing the receptionist asked me was what time I would check out instead of just informing the check out time. When I arrived at breakfast at 9.40 am, I was greeted by a staff saying that breakfast would close soon please hurry. Also, during the breakfast, another staff came to rush me. This whole service made staying here feel a bit stressful. I just wanted to relax but this hotel maybe is not for relaxing:). Wanted to extend my stay but cancelled my second booking due to this because I don't feel comfortable with this service. Hope the hotel can improve and understand that client experience is the most important in the service business.

It's indeed saddened me to hear about the impression we made you feel during your check-in, and especially the manner in which our team handled the case when there was mistake made. Having closer look into the case, I really wished that we acted in a more professional manner to address the issue and assure that you have your own choice to make. And even though we normally try to get hold of guest's schedules to anticipate their needs and make necessary arrangements in favour of the guests, we should be more tact and be more use of that information. Please rest assured that the team and concerned managers have be firmly sensitized and further training will be enforced. The room is poorly soundproof, we can hear all the noises in the next room and footsteps outside. We were resting in our room when the housekeeping staff knocked on the door at 19:00. I was in the toilet before I could open the door, when the staff voluntarily opened the door to come in and asked if I needed anything? It is incomprehensible that privacy is unreasonably disturbed while staying at a 5-star hotel.
