Great price, exactly what I expected

An old hotel but traditional in decor and clean and tidy. Staff very pleasant and breakfast plentiful. Waiter at breakfast very friendly and chatty to all ( brummie ). This is my 3rd visit, & hope to come again in autumn.

Room was cold but the porter got a heater. Toilet had leaked over night so the bathroom floor was soaked in the morning. Window didn't shut properly had to stuff towels in-between to stop the draft and radiator wasn't heating up correctly but the night porter got us a portable heater. You get what you pay for in life

Highly recommended.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, made me feel at home while working away from home. What they do they do very well. Would definitely stay again when in area. Bed comfortable and great view from room.

Everything we needed for the stay was very good nothing to complain about was near to every thing will be staying there again in future

Traditional seaside hotel, so somewhat dated, but directly across the road from the promenade & easy walk to shops etc. Comfortable bedroom, ours with a sea view & very clean. Parking available rear of property. Excellent freshly prepared breakfast & helpful & friendly staff. Would recommend & would stay there again 🙂

Nice quiet spacious room with excellent sea views.

It's hard to write a review for this one - because there are some things I absolutely loved and some things that were awful. I stayed 22/04/24 - 26/04/24 in Room 33. LOVED: *I got a really good price, for a single Seaview room and I was absolutely thrilled with this especially because the gulls sat outside the window and I love that, I love the birds, thank you for this room. The receptionist was very helpful in extending my stay an extra night too, she was very friendly. *it was quiet, the bed was comfortable, it was cosy, the chairs by the window were nice, it was more than enough for me. Staff were friendly and helpful not so great - the nightmare toilet *The bathroom was very small but again no problems because I feel it was good value. The toilet though, the was attached loosely to the floor somehow, I didn't know what type of toilet it was until after 'the incident' - it's a macerator toilet. Apparently these block much more easily. Everything was fine until the morning I left. I went to the toilet and it blocked. I tried to fix it myself, which was awful, I ended up in floods of tears in the hallway. The cleaning lady was out there and was so lovely, she told me the room 33 toilet was a frequent problem. I wouldn't stay again because of this experience, which is a shame. Toilet needs replacing, definitely. 5 stars for cosy room itself and friendly staff, no stars for toilet!

We liked everything about the hotel from start to finish of our trip only one thing we had to cut it short because of the burst water pipe which was not there fault would book the hotel next time we visit llandudno

Visited mid January when facilities were not all open and staffing was minimal eg the receptionist also doubled up as the bar person. However we had a very relaxing stay at this quiet time of year and all the staff were polite and very helpful. For what we paid for a superior room we were very pleased. It was clean and spacious with all the facilities you needed and partly refurbished to modern standards. Cubicle shower was a bit small and wouldn’t accommodate large person but we managed OK. Breakfast served was very good, partly self service and table service. Lunch was available in the bar and was also good and reasonably priced. Due to a water main burst on the final day of our stay the hotel had to close and we therefore missed our final breakfast. This was out of the hotel’s control. They gave everyone a bottle of water. The hotel is centrally located on the promenade, close to the town centre and a short walk from the pier and Great Orme. A great base for a stay.

So warm and welcoming,I was there when unfortunately there was a burst water pipe in Conway area then Llandudno The staff where brillant looking after us,they had to ration drinking water but we all got some.Our room was perfect Twin beds a table with two chairs so we could chill and take in the sea view .Lots of tea coffee milk etc plus hair dryer I will definitely go back

Brilliant place to stay,5 minutes walk from train station, same to the town centre

The staff and breakfast were great. The hotel is quite old and could use a bit of work here and there but it’s ok overall. The room however was not what we expected. There is basic, and there is the basic room at Marine Hotel. There are no photos of the basic rooms online but looking at photos of a standard room we thought it can’t be much different. Unfortunately it was different. The tiles in the bathroom were super old, chipped and dirty in places. Carpet had stains, there was a hole on the wall. When we arrived it was too late to look for alternative accommodation so we decided to stay especially that we were there only for one night. The hotel should upload photos of the basic rooms on their or partners websites so guests can avoid disappointment.

Stayed one night after a stay the night before at the St George. The hotel is a bit shabby but in the process of being done up. Staff are nice . We booked a superior room 117 but the only superior thing is the sea view . The room was really cold and the duvet is very thin. Due to the big old windows it’s hard to heat it. I’d suggest thick pjs , bed socks and a dressing gown. Family had a much nicer room number 15. Food was ok for the price we paid for half board . Breakfast was nice. We would probably go back again in the future.

Had a good pre Christmas stay . The hotel is a bit cold so you may need a few layers to keep warm , the weather was really bad this weekend so that didn’t help. Our bedroom no 15 was lovely and hot. Food was just ok with only 4 options for evening meal that stayed the same 2 nights on the run. Bar prices aren’t bad. Wonderful staff and parking at £6 a night. Steep stairs at the side or a ramp at the front. Really steep staircase at the back leading from the car park.
