Ambarawa Train (KA Ambarawa) is one of the Indonesian trains operating round-trip journeys from Surabaya to Semarang. It began operating on October 4, 2016, replacing the Blora Jaya Ekspres and Cepu Ekspres trains.

Previously, Ambarawa Train used carriages from the discontinued Menoreh Train series. However, it now uses new carriages that offer improved facilities and comfort.

The name "Ambarawa" does not directly connect to the train service. It was chosen because Ambarawa is a sub-district in Semarang. Ambarawa was a military base during the Dutch colonial era, as evidenced by the Willem I Ambarawa Fortress, which was used for logistics storage and as military barracks. The Ambarawa Railway Museum, which used to function as a train station, is another historical site in Ambarawa.

Currently, Ambarawa Train is under the supervision of DAOP IV Semarang. The journey from Surabaya to Semarang on this train takes an average of 4 hours and 51 minutes, with a maximum speed of 50-100 km/h.
