Interesting Information about Ciremai Ekspres Train
Ciremai Ekspres is one of the latest train services released by PT. KAI. It has run its operation from Cirebon to Bandung since September 28th, 2013. The related company had mapped out this project and actualized it before the release of Papandayan Ekspres was held on March 3rd, 2009. Unfortunately, this scheme fell apart as the track developers, as well as transportation department parties, strongly opposed.
In the beginning, the Ciremai Ekspres didn’t have business class. It was finally present on August 11th 2014. As the coaches were often occupied, the additional departure schedule letting the train leave four times a day was made. On January 15th, 2015, the Ciremai Ekspres stopped becoming the regular one. The route extension to Semarang was officially done on October 3rd, 2016. Not only can this way accommodate people heading to Semarang but it also promotes good income for the operational region of Semarang 4.
