1. Originally named Tjikarang Oedjong

The construction of Kiaracondong Station is known to have been carried out since 1884 by the Dutch East Indies government. At that time, Kiaracondong Station was called Tjikarang Oedjong Station. After that, the name of Tjikarang Oedjong Station was changed again to Tjikarangdong. The last name change made this station known as Kiaracondong Station as it is now.
