Lubuklinggau Station is a class I railway station located in Pasar Permiri, Lubuk Linggau Barat II, Lubuklinggau. This station is the westernmost and northernmost station in South Sumatra and the only station in Lubuklinggau city. Currently, the Station has four railway lines with line 2 being a straight line. This station is also considered as a terminus station, which means it has no more continuation lines. 

From a historical point of view, Lubuklinggau station was originally part of the big plan to build the Trans-Sumatra railway line by the Dutch East Indies Colonial Government. Where, in this plan, the construction of the train line was carried out to unite other lines, such as Atjeh Tram, Deli Spoorweg Maatschappij, and Staatsspoorwegen ter Sumatra's Westkust. However, the malaise era that occurred at the end of the 1920s eventually caused this plan to fail so that development stopped only as far as Lubuklinggau.
