Currently, the Probowangi Train does indeed serve the Banyuwangi Baru - Surabaya Gubeng route. However, the route turned out to be the result of a recent overhaul after previously also experiencing 2 changes in the train route. Initially on 11 February 2014, the Probowangi train that served up to Probolinggo Station was expanded to Surabaya Gubeng Station. Then on April 14, 2014, Probowangi Train again expanded its route to the city of Surabaya. The newest route, namely Banyuwangi Baru - Surabaya Gubeng officially started on April 1, 2017.
