Purwakarta Station (PWK) located at Jl. Colonel Kornel Singawinata No. 1, Nagri Tengah, Purwakarta, West Java, is a class I railway station located at an altitude of +84 meters above sea level and is included in the Operational Area (DAOP) II Bandung and KAI Commuter.

The station serves Ciremai and Harina trains for the northern Java route, Serayu train for the southern Java route, and Cikuray train for the western Java route. As for local trains, the Bandung Raya Commuter Line is available to Purwakarta, Walahar, and Garut.

The distinctive feature of this station is the stack of train cars, which is quite an eye-catching spot. This pile has existed since 2017 and until now Purwakarta Station is still used to stack train sets that are no longer in use.

In 2018, the pile of cars was stripped down or resituated, replaced with train wrecks that were newer in age and appearance.
