There is no direct train service available from Serang to Jakarta at present. However, Serang residents planning to travel to Jakarta can use the Merak Commuter Line that departs from Serang Station and goes to Rangkasbitung Station.
From Rangkasbitung Station, passengers need to transfer to the Rangkasbitung Commuter Line service to arrive at Tanah Abang Station, which is the final destination.
