Tawang Jaya Premium Train

The Tawang Jaya Premium Train is an AC Premium Economy class train operated by PT Kereta Api Indonesia with the Semarang Tawang route to the Jakarta Pasar Senen and vice versa. This train becomes the first regular service train with a premium stainless steel circuit and is the fifth train that regularly uses the Premium class.

Every day, Tawang Jaya Premium train has one route trip with 7 hours 5 minutes time travel. This train uses the Menoreh 1 Train departure schedule, which departs from Semarang at night, and departs for Jakarta in the morning. The train circuit formations carry nine premium economy train cars, one dining train car, and one electric train car.

Tawang Jaya train fares fluctuate, starting from Rp. 105,000.00 - Rp. 140,000.00 for regular AC economy class and Rp. 190,000.00 - Rp. 300,000.00 for premium economy class, depending on distance, subclass/seat position on the train, and certain days such as weekends and national holidays. In addition, special rates apply which can only be ordered at the station counter two hours before the departure of the train at the station on the Bekasi-Jakarta route or vice versa Rp. 20,000 for economy class with air conditioners.

Train History

The Tawang Jaya Premium Train operates regularly from 6 April 2018, which was previously an additional train operated on 20 June 2017 as Eid al-Fitri transportation, and 16 February 2018 as the Lunar New Year holiday.
