friendly staff room service ends at 11pm; WAY too early!

My wife and I absolutely love the property and would have given it a perfect score in every aspect, except for one unusual incident. The fire alarm unexpectedly went off even though there was no real danger. Fortunately, we were able to stay and didn't have to evacuate; however, the downside was that we had to walk up and down 11 flights of stairs because the elevators were out of service due to the alarm, which was really bad timing because we were going to a wedding. That part was definitely frustrating. Aside from that, this hotel is fantastic, and we would definitely return.

Comfortable beds and good sized rooms. Staff was very attentive and friendly. I stay here at least once a year when coming to Philadelphia- highly reccomend!

Clean and comfortable.

This is my favorite hotel. The bar always has something fun going on when you're checking in. The bar is good. It has a positive vibe. I like the old elevators. The rooms are super clean and decorated in good taste and your valet dudes are awesome.

Pet friendly and very comfy bed and room. Heating was accurate and easily adjustable in bedroom and separately in the bathroom. Staff assistance was excellent.

I’m a huge eagle fan and absolutely love written house. This location is prime within blocks to everything. If you’re looking for good sushi, there’s several of them. I recommend Kai that’s my favorite. There’s also the best chocolate chip cookie place called Chip city. This is an older hotel but the location you cannot be in the rooms are always comfortable and clean. The service is on top of things.

Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary and the hotel was amazing. We also loved having bed in breakfast. Everything was great

This property was great, very courteous staff. Didn’t receive any benefits bc it was my birthday. At The W I got cake and champagne and it had nothing to do with points. This is a good central area to everything.

We stay here about twice a year and we always love it.

The room was spacious and clean with a great view of the city. The bathroom was a little dated and hallway noise was apparent. The staff was friendly and the lobby bar was a great place to hang out with friends.

Very friendly staff

I was charged for bottles of water that were left on the desk NOT the mini fridge. If they had been in the mini fridge i would have never toched them,as i never toich ANYTHING in the mini fridge. Kinda sneaky move for a hotel of that larvel
