First glance, it was a very good rate hotel as one of Sukosol hotel. However, it was a shocking experience for us since the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out. It was very confusing entrance with their two entrance and one is not for car parking while no staff to give direction. The service is comparable to untrained two stars hotel. After we reached the lobby parking the security asked us " is there anything would you like me to help carry?" And we were actually unloading our bag. So he did not help anything. Same thing happens on check out time. Nothing was helpful from the bellboy nor security guard. There is a sense of discrimination toward Thai guest when my partner spoke Thai with them. It had becoming one of the culture to expect tip from the guest. However, thai people does not give tip in general so the staff not really pay attention to us. I do understand that in general treatment. But seriously this also happens in 5 star hotel? Come on this is cheap. Even worse, we did not drink nor eat anything from their mini bar, but they accused us for drinking their water until we asked for second time check with a firm confirmation. Then they accepted that. The facility was not as luxury as it advertised. It is a very old hotel. There was a fitness room, so we did wanted to use. It supposed to be open at 7am as it said infront of the room. However, I arrived at 7 without any sign of staff preparation. We did called to the front desk at 6.58AM on 30 May 2024. It was a surprise for me to received unpleasant respond from a male front desk staff on guest inquiry. They said it open at 8am. So we respond as we saw the sign open at 7am. So they decide to send a staff to open the door for us. Unfortunately, only open the door and not clean. We did get into the fitness room, with a very bad gym equipment. From my partner experiences, the gym worth 0.50$ for entry. It was so old, unmanaged with broken equipment. In short, we will not go there again.
