Been staying here for 3 nights. I thought they had the best service considering it being a 5 star hotel/resort, but I was sadly mistaken. First, they didn't allow you to take away some of the tea bags that was provided at the restaurant during breakfast, I mean, how funny is that, cause compared to two other hotels i've been staying at with my husband in my home country which was also 5 stars, they always allowed for us to take away some traditional tea bags that were available during breakfast, and they had a wide selection which attracted alot of guest to take as they pleased, but instead of doing that, they warned us not to take any tea bags. Also secondly, they didn't restock any toiletries in our room on a daily basis, they gave us shampoo, hand soap, lotion and shower gel, but compared to other hotels me & my husband stayed at they did restock the toiletries. Thirdly, they didn't wash the glass clearly, I saw a lipstick mark on the glass that I was about to use at the restaurant for breakfast and also once I got back to the room at noon, I was about to pour myself a drink & then to my amazement I found a yogurt mark on a glass that my husband had the night before, it means they didn't wash it clearly. Come on, it's 5 stars isn't?! Forth, just before we were about to check out, they asked for us to pay for the mini bar, but we didn't even take anything from the minibar. Then we explained to the receptionist that we didn't use any of the snacks/drinks from the minibar, but he still provided us with some sort of payment, which means they didn't count the number of drinks that were provided inside the mini bar. It never happened in the country where i'm from. Which means they lack preparation. Instead of it being 5 stars, this place is more like 3 stars with the hospitality. Fifth, they didn't have many variants of food for breakfast. Five stars should have many variants of food such as an asian and western buffet, but this place mostly only had an asian buffet & a small selection of western food. They didn't put the juices inside the dispenser which made some of the guests confused which caused a man to bring a bottle to his table, then one of the waiters came to him to take the bottle away. If they don't allow guests to take a bottle, then why not just put all of the drinks inside a dispenser? The service wasn't that organised. Finally, I thought some of the people who worked at this place to be a bit unfriendly towards the asian tourists, I felt more respect were given towards the western tourists and not much respect were given towards the asian tourists, even though my husband is a westerner, they put more respect to him instead of the both of us. I mean, we are both tourists from another country, staying at your hotel which we paid for I personally wouldn't recommend this hotel/resort based on my experience since it's far from anywhere besides it being opposite from the beach.
