Great stay with great staff....

Great stay in well maintained hotel.

We had a great stay here in Feb/March 2024. The hotel is beautiful, the room was huge with amazing authentic traditional thai decor. We felt instantly relaxed when we walked into our room. The mini bar was stocked up with loads of drinks and snacks, welcome fruit and great staff who made us felt welcome and set us up in the room. The room was very clean and it smelled great from the incense they burn in a small corner. We also made use of their on site spa and it was a great experience too, the set up is very calming and serene and the private massage rooms with shower and tub were amazing. We're coming back to this hotel again in Oct 2024 because we loved it so much. PS:Had a pool suite and the set up of the room allows you to climb straight into the shower from the pool which is just genius

Amazing hotel and location, lovely breakfast with lots to choose from. The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful- nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely return!

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, its is an older resort but is very well maintained, more traditional Thai. Comfortable bed, Staff fantastic, good selection at breakfast the fresh juice was great. We had our own pool which was nice to cool off in after being at the beach all day, just needs some kind of rail to make it easier to get in and out of. The beach area is very clean with lovely soft sand but easy for walking. Close to other restaurants and bars. After check out we were able to spend more time at the beach they provide toilet and showers where we could shower and change before moving on to our next hotel. We would stay here again. Value for money.

Absolutely amazing stay

My husband and I stayed at Royal Muang Villas for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. From the spacious room and comfortable bed, to the accommodating and friendly staff, great pool and beach area and a lot of food options, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The resort was even better than in looked in the photos in our opinion. Highly recommend

Excellent location, pool, food, beach & staff

Check in takes to long, after 12 hours of flights we had nearly an hour after we arrived at hotel till we had our bags delivered to our room so we could relax. We then found we had no hot water. We then went to swim in our splash pool - spa jets were broken. Had a swim anyway - nearly cut my foot open on a broken filter grate on the bottom of the pool. Floor boards in bathroom area moved which caused a nail to rise up - put a bandaid over it so we didn't cut our feet. Room safe didn't work properly, had to enter code around 10 times each way to lock or unlock. A burger ring under our desk from a previous guest still there when we left. Rock slabs used for pathways near beach would move when stepped on, warned about them by a staff member but never fixed the issue. On the 5th day our pool went a shade of green, I assume as we had not seen any filters had come on for a couple of days. Then for a grand finale, on our last day we went for swim after lunch, shortly after going back into our room there was a loud crash outside. Upon investigating we found a lump of CONCRETE the size of a loaf of bread had broken off the second floor villa. It hit the tiled awning above our pool then landed on the edge our pool and exploded sending pieces of tile and concrete into and around our pool, the largest was about the size of a rock melon which landed in the pool where my wife and I had been swimming. Staff called, looked, said sorry and blamed a squirrel. Overpriced, dangerous, rundown

Staff and rooms was outstanding.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.some old world charm. Staff were excellent.

Love the resort and location but the best thing is the staff

Great hotel with very accommodating staff. It was a very pleasant stay. The only area if improvement would be the housekeeping which could be better as bed sheets were not changed.

We had a really good time at the hotel. Room was great, we had a pool room which was ideal with the kids. Pool big enough to actually swim rather than just have a dip. The hotel pool was excellent and very convenient to go straight into the beach . The hotel is classed as 5 star but this is Thai 5 star. This is not the 4 Seasons. The beach was good and the sea great nice and shallow for the kids. The hotel is getting a little tired in places and the beach could’ve been cleaner. On some days.

The Good first , very friendly staff, Big pool with waterfall, onsite massage, and bar, big spacious rooms. The ugly they had no water in our wing or several rooms for almost 2 days mainy during the day due to onsite pipe or maintenance issues ,the guest should of had a choice to get a full refund and check out or free stay especially without running water or shower usage. But after letting it go for a full day we had to ask for a credit the second day which we only got one day credit after a hassle , but the manager seemed to be in a rock and a hard place so to speak and was Professional to deal with. Also the rooms and resort is a little dated, maybe things will improve as the revenue come back or if things get done , you decide just trying to give our experience at that time.

My family and I really liked the hotel location close to restaurants in Choeng Mon, the beach, facilities, good buffet breakfast and the very friendly staff. Accommodation was spacious and fairly peaceful. The property could do with a bit of renovation, for example the wood decking by the villa pool was loose and cracked in places.

Our stay was incredible! The property itself is as promised and described, the staff were extremely responsive, friendly, and accommodating, the rooms were great, and the grounds were picturesque!! We went with two small children (6&7) and they had a great time. The hotel is great for families, as well as, couples. The spa was clean and relaxing. They also offered kids packages. The breakfast that was included for free had so many options and was delicious. I would go back there in a heart beat!

Great place to stay on a amazing beach. Lovely little village.
