good hotel

Very good

The tiles in the bathroom were falling apart, the room we stayed in was so small and they were having trouble with the hot water. We sometimes had hot water and sometimes did not.

Very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

We're happy about our stay...

The rooms were not like what was advertised. The put us in a room with a old worn sofa that was caving in, the beds were very hard and felt like we were sleeping on the floor it was not a very good experience at all

Room is nice but the furnace is so loud. Parking is no good as garage is not open 24/7. Ended up having to pay valet. When sofa bed is in use, you cannot open the fridge door. Bad design.

The service is not good, I had booked a date, I couldn't arrive on the reserved date I called the hotel I asked them if they could move my reservation and they said yes, when I'm at the hotel after 3 days they tell me that I have to check out when they had already told me that they could move my reservation, I talked directly with the manager and he said that was not possible because they can't move the reservation when the previous days I called them and they said yes, I left because the manager didn't give me a solution just book again, I don't recommend it I wouldn't stay at this hotel again

The location

the hyatt washington DC / convention center is three long blocks from the actual convention center so the name of this hotel is very misleading

Good location for all the DC sights. Most are walkable 30-45 minutes. Comfortable hotel with clean well appointed rooms. Would definitely stay again

It was amazing

The elevator didn’t work and we had to walk up stairs every time. There was also cops at the hotel due to issues which wasn’t a great experience. The room was clean but the shower had cold water. The gym was very nice though and the parking garage below had $30/day self parking

Their deposits are $100 a day, that was crazy to me. The elevator was not working the 1st day so we had to carry our luggage to the 4th floor. Parking was outrageous, we paid $104 for the car to stay in the garage for 3 days . The icing on the cake to finish this terrible experience was that we had no hot water. I let the front desk know, he spoke to my spouse very condescending and the water situation was never fixed. Housekeeping did not clean after the poor job they did the first day, we requested for them not to clean our room. We did it ourselves. I did enjoy DC and will return to visit but I won't ever book this hotel again.

Elevators where broken. Loud guests on six floor. Everything could be heard through the walls, no insulation. Had to call the front desk at 3am because of the noise, problem persisted for another hour. Do not recommend going there.

Everything was great for it to be New Year’s Eve. Only thing was the next morning the hot water took a while to work due to so many people using it at once

The elevator was out on my birthday and I had to walk up 7 flights of stairs it was the worse experience on my birthday
