Rooms are great, loved the roof top bar and really enjoyed the breakfast at the first floor restaurant. Friendly and efficient staff.

Conveniently located downtown. Close to restaurants , and very easy walking around the area.

Suite was spacious and enjoyed the Byredo amenities

Only problem that happened was they thought I got valet parking and I don't own a car or even drive. Other than that, it was a really nice hotel to stay in. With amazing view and modern bathroom.

We had a fantastic stay start to finish and loved the convenient location being so close to the market and shopping centre

If you don't mind loud construction then stay here if not pick another hotel as the noise was crazy loud and disruptive

Super fin de semaine

I'll break down why we will never be returning to this location. 1. Booked our room a week in advance for a birthday getaway and was not informed conveniently until after the room cancellation was nonrefundable about the construction happening all around the building ( they offered earplugs as a solution... a solution for "controlled explosions... ") didn't affect us as it was the weekend but zero effort was put into sound deadening in the rooms, street noise was the worst we've experienced in all our Ottawa stays 2: 24-h notice again about no on-site parking, happy to charge $50 to valet you to an unknown parking garage which we did because what choice did we have? Told to park anywhere in front of the building and wait for valet only to be greeted with a $120 parking ticket. Oficer explained this hotel does this so often that if I went to the ticket payment office and told them that the "Andza hotel" told me to park there they would terminate the ticket but she needed to issue it as it's a frequent problem due to having 2 valet spots available for a 12 story building. Manager told us it was my fault, only once I started to get loud and vocalize how shady this 24hr notice was did the manager whisper "he himself" would handle the ticket "as a birthday present to my wife..." was very uncomfortable. Confirmed before booking The rooftop patio (sole reason for our stay) was open only to arrive to it being closed for the season weeks ago. The vehicle was returned damaged.

The view down the market at night is amazing

The hotel was beautiful and the service was great. But I was a little concerned when I saw the type of construction that was happening in the lot next door. Had I know about the type of construction I probably would not have stayed here. I was very uncomfortable with the depth of the excavation going on right next to the hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and have always had pleasant experiences in the past. However, during my most recent visit, a few aspects left room for improvement. The check-in process was quick and efficient, which I appreciated. However, when inquiring about off-site parking options, the staff seemed unsure, which was surprising given that there is no parking on-site. Additionally, we were informed that the handicap parking spot located right outside the door (which did not require valet service) was still charged the valet rate of $48 per night. This felt a bit excessive, especially since the driver in our party uses a cane. Our room itself was comfortable, but a few details could have been better. While earplugs were thoughtfully provided, likely due to the construction noise that began at 7 am, the room lacked extra pillows and bed linens in the closet. There was only one robe for our two-person stay and no slippers, which seemed like an oversight. The Byredo toiletries in full sized bottles is a major plus for this hotel and served to enhance the wonderful shower. The staff at the lobby bar were friendly but unfortunately did not seem familiar with how to make a proper Americano, which was a minor disappointment. Despite these points, our overall stay was good, just not up to the consistently outstanding level I’ve come to expect from this property. I hope these small issues can be addressed to ensure that future stays meet the usual high standard.

Loud construction that scared us out of bed at 7am. No prior notice about the noise until check in. Fire alarm test in the morning. Terrible pillows and no hot water. I’m requesting a refund.

Conveniently located and very clean! Rooms have been nicelt updated too.
