I was very disappointed staying at Swiss-bellhotel Tarakan. I checked in on January 18, 2025 and checked out on January 19, 2025. I have stayed at Swiss-bellhotels in various cities and Swiss-bellhotel Tarakan is the worst. I stayed in room 803.
- Bathroom toilet: The bidet water spray is very small, while there is no bidet jet shower.
- Breakfast: Breakfast dishes of fried rice and fried vermicelli: bland, no taste at all. The traditional cakes are hard and smell of flour. Even the most disappointing thing is the black coffee smells and is strange. Breakfast at a roadside coffee shop is better.
- The most disappointing thing was when I checked out I was given a restaurant receipt for Rp. 300 thousand, there was cappuccino, several other drinks and cakes, even though I didn't order anything from the restaurant and I was the only one staying there. However, the receipt said room 803 in the name of Ruslan. The question is, why can other people eat but the bill goes into my room bill? Is this the work of the person who ate and just mentioned the room number for the bill or the hotel staff who entered the wrong room number? Obviously I refused to pay because I ordered the food. I asked to meet the hotel staff in charge when the person ordered the food, the staff should still remember the person who ordered the food, whether it was me or not. but he had gone home because of a shift change. another staff called him and finally it was true that it was not me because the staff admitted that the person who ordered the food was a traveler, I don't know what a traveler means. while the staff who is currently confirming that it was not me who ordered the food.
What is very disappointing is that the hotel seems to have no SOP or work standards according to Swiss-bellhotel. How can other people order food and just mention the room number, shouldn't they see the room key number and have to sign the bill?
I will never stay at Swiss-bellhotel Tarakan again. I'm fed up with staying there.
