So far so good. Resepsionis ramah, responsif. Furniture looks old buat everythings is okay. Overall is okay , will comeback someday😇

I would say this hotel definitely not 3 stars from my experience.

I got an upgrade room, so lucky, unfortunately there is no toothbrush and toothpaste provided, but free water, coffee, tea, sugar, there is a water heater, and a hairdryer. Overall ok

Room space was enough for both of us, its twin bed was also pretty big, we loved it! Nearby there were some yummy small restaurants to try, my fave one was Pín Xín (vegan restaurant). Free coffee beverage (self service) in the lobby, overall we felt satisfied enough to stay the nights here, thanks all! 🙏🏻

Good service, good location near Komtar and some places to have meals, this is a second time stay in this hotel and still fine after some years.

I am a Tourist Guide. I booked 2 rooms for me and the driver upon realising there 's a coach bay right infront of the hotel. I requested via Traveloka as well. Unfortunately the hotel claimed that such request was not made and the bay was allowed to be used by cars from nearby workshop. As a resuly I had to book another hotel room for the driver for 2 nights which privide parking bay for the coach and I continued staying at this hotel with the other rooms remained empty.

The receptionist staff who receive guests still need to be taught how to properly greet guests, there are no greetings of good morning, afternoon, evening at all, there are no smiles either. It's like they don't eat enough sugar, but Indonesians are the friendliest people.

Good price and for foodie walking location can consider good. Hotel start to be a bit old but still good for a comfortable stay. Receptionist girl don't greet and talk much. The room I got, air conditioner leaking water very badly. Didn't complain cause only stay 1 night. Just got it for a good bath and sleep. Don't expect more.

First room is 116, very dirty, ants on bed, toilet, window, toilet flooring is uneven, so there always puddle of water in the toilet after shower, toilet is smelly, inside kettle is rusty, I asked to change, housekeeper brought me another kettle still rusty inside, 3rd kettle is not working, 2 male housekeepers shouted with frustration inside my room, I was shocked and told them to give me a kettle in another day, as room 116 was too smelly, I asked to change room, they changed me to room108, still run down, but slightly better, still seeing ants in the toilet, I found out housekeeper remove trash but did not change trash plastic bag, no wonder I saw trash plastic is moldy and with stains of my avocado skin, no wonder ants in the room, I also found out housekeeper did not scrub basin and toilet floor, so it was very dirty, I will not stay this hotel for the rest of my life, attitude bad, and too dirty and smelly

I asked for the upper level, they just give me 2nd floor. On 1st day we stayed there, there was a birthday celebration from local people. They sang until midnight and we didn't get coffee only 2 bottles mineral water (one of the staff said we have to choose either mineral water or coffee). 2nd day there was firework at midnight time. The hotel gave us mineral water an coffee. There is several ants found on the table. For future need improvement as well. Unfortunately we did not take any pictures at that time.

Don't list the rating as a 3 star hotel, but this is worthy of a 1 star motel! The bed sheets had several stains such as chocolate/blood, the interior of the table and cupboard was worn out, the AC was dripping with water, the bathroom was not clean. I'm tired of paying a bit more but getting the quality according to the rating.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. If I have the opportunity to go to Penang again I will return to this hotel too.

Spacious room good location to Komtar and food stall water heater going well but window glasses should be cleaning and limited TV channel car park

Nice hotel. Near komtar/the top with the famous rainbow walk and Jurassic park. Just 5 minutes walk, which also make you can go anywhere with bus easily. Also near new lane street food where you can find cheap and tasty meal. Char keow teoy is just 10-13RM. Room is clean but the ceiling in the bathroom a bit damp and stained, but I guess its okay. The floor a bit flooded after a shower. Looks like its not properly level. The staff not good with smile though. But they're friendly enough to guide you or accommodate you with what you need. The elevator is creaky. I guess it needs properly maintain as the elevator is the only way you can get upstairs. I believe there's stair to it. But I guess its not accessible.

Thank God I upgraded the room from the hotel. So 2 king beds and there is a small living room also complete with sofa and table and work desk. Thank you Super 8 Hotel, if you go to Penang again it could be an option. 🥰, it's just a little unpleasant, there's thick dust on the guest table. Like it hasn't been wiped for more than 7 times. Overall it's good.

Good hotel, location in the city core, close to the food center area. Recommended 👍.
