The room I was staying in, the floor carpet was dirty and not properly cleaned. The aircon needs servicing, the room was very warm for many hours. Only during the night does it get a bit better.

89 Hotel in Batam is one of the best hotel their service is excellent and staff are friendly and helpful. The Breakfast is one of best. Walking distance to Grand Mall just across the road, walking distance to because mall and many good food eateries around the hotel.

All the staff are very friendly and polite. I will come back here again if I go to Batam, the access to the city is very easy because the location of the hotel is in the middle of the hotel.

Been there a few times before Covid, enjoying the Sauna and Hot Water and decided to be back. Sadly, they are doing some cleaning to the Sauna room. Adding on the internet wifi was not that good. Was there to check emails from my laptop but the wifi is not reachable. So decided to stay somewhere else. Was there for just 1 night.

Guests are always asked for their preferences. Either cash / passport as the room deposit and at the same time we could help safe keeping for the guest.

1. The front desk almost give my room to other guest because of his mistake not checking the identity correctly. 2. Toilet water pressure quite pathetic. 3. Room carpet have pungent smell making breathing uncomfortable.
