Overall, the hotel is good, even though it is an old hotel, it is comfortable, unfortunately the shower is broken, the sink keeps leaking and can't be turned off.

Suggestions for improvement: ☺. It is time to renovate all aspects of the physical building, including the room facilities (room, bed, AC, bathroom, room furniture). It is a shame that this once magnificent star hotel is now poorly maintained.

The building and rooms are quite old, and the decoration is minimalistic, but everything functions properly. My room was spacious, as was the bathroom, and both were well-maintained. The hot and cold faucets worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the reliable internet connection, which, although limited to four devices, was sufficient for my needs. This was particularly important as I needed to stay connected for work purposes. The staff at Hotel Pelangi Malang deserve special mention. They were genuinely dedicated to ensuring my comfort. Initially, I was assigned room 210, but upon expressing a preference for a quieter location, they promptly moved me to room 110. This level of attentiveness and willingness to accommodate my needs was greatly appreciated. Breakfast at the hotel, while not offering a wide variety, was delicious. The simplicity of the menu did not detract from the quality of the food. Additionally, the hotel boasts a charming coffee shop located in front of the city square, which became a favorite spot for me to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The hotel 's central location in the heart of the city made it convenient to explore the surrounding area. Being situated in the middle of the city meant that attractions, restaurants, and shops were all within easy reach, adding to the overall convenience of my stay. In conclusion, while Hotel Pelangi Malang may not initially appear to be the most modern or luxurious option, it offers a unique and enjoyable experience. The service is really good, when you ask for anything it's immediately fast. The rooms are also clean, basically 5 stars.

This hotel is where I stayed when I was a child, after 45 years the condition is still like that.

The hotel is strategic, near Alun Alun Malang. There is a swimming pool so children can swim. The breakfast menu is also varied and tastes delicious. Highly recommended for staying around Malang City.

Central location, close to everywhere, easy to find food.

The hotel is located in the city center, in the Malang City Square area. The heritage hotel building is very historic since the Dutch Colonial era, only 2 floors. Although there are no elevator facilities, the rooms are typical of the old era, very spacious and still well maintained, where in a modern hotel is there a standard room that is large enough to play football 😄👍👍😁

Very loud mosque right across the street so make sure you get a room towards the back of the property. It does seem to tone the volume down during sleep time.
