The room is clean, the hot water works well, the AC is cold, the facilities are really good and the hotel environment is aesthetic.. Awesome

vacation in semarang stay 3 nights at surya hotel.. location on the side of the road near poncol station. take a suite room that has a living room with 2 toilets and 2 air conditioners yes.. so the room is really spacious because I brought 3 children too so it was nice and free.. got a cheap price too with 3 rooms total 1'4... ohh yes next to it there is queen city mall so at night you can play at the mall just by walking. for breakfast is enough even though there are not many varieties but enough to fill your stomach in the morning.. there is white rice fried rice there are stir-fried vegetables there are side dishes there are also fried foods.. there is white bread with jam.. there is pudding there is also fruit.. the point is we are satisfied staying at surya hotel with a cheap price we get the best facilities.. thank you surya hotel...

The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is okay. Near the mall.

Room 314, I couldn't even take photos. 1. Lots of itchy little ants on my skin. 2. Water heater with minimal hot water. 3. From check-in, I requested cleaning, but only once out of a 3-night stay. 4. The mattress, a spring mattress, was no longer suitable for a so-called star-rated hotel. I woke up with even more body and neck aches. 5. The receptionist's phone line was just "tut, tut..." 6. I borrowed a broom, and it turned out I was told to sweep it myself. It was my first time staying in a hotel where I had to sweep it myself. 7. When I was about to check out, the AC automatically turned off at 11:45. Truly shocking, the facilities were inadequate and very disappointing. Booked through Traveloka, a superior room, but was given a room that wasn't "standard" for a star-rated hotel. I'll only stay here once.

Highly recommended in the heart of the city center

The location is close to my office, close to Poncol Station.

Located in the center of Semarang City, close to Poncol train station and right next to Queen City Mall, just a short walk away.

It's quite good for the price, and it's close to Poncol Station within walking distance. The service is friendly, the air conditioning is cool, and it's close to the mall and Kota Lama. If I go back to Semarang, I'll stay at this hotel again.

I've stayed at the Surya Hotel twice. Unfortunately, this time, my experience was a bit disappointing. I got the same room as the one I stayed in three years ago (November 2022), but this time the room was in poor condition. 1. The walls had lots of water leaks, and it was damp near the closet. 2. The electrical outlet was almost loose. 3. The table had termites, evident from the peeling wood veneer. 4. The room was not very clean. There were lots of mosquitoes, and the closet shelves were dusty. So I couldn't store my clothes in the closet. 5. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. It probably came out through the drain. So try to keep the bathroom door closed to prevent the cockroach from entering the room. I didn't take a photo because it would be very disturbing for those of you who don't like cockroaches. 6. The air conditioner seemed to need cleaning, as it wouldn't cool down immediately after turning it on. It took a few minutes to cool down. 7. Several lights were out, above the bed and above the shower. So it's a bit dark above the bed. 8. There's only one bottle of mineral water, and the dispenser in the corridor also has no water. In terms of service, it's good; nothing has changed. For example, when we complained about the hot water for our shower, the receptionist explained it well. We understood that there were specific times for hot water for a specific reason. I don't understand why I was given a room in this condition. I hope I can be given a better room. Hopefully, Surya Hotel can improve in the future.

so I don't regret staying here, everything is really TOP, it's right next to the mall, if I go to Semarang, I will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and not disappointing... Close to the mall

The staff are good at serving, if possible there would be hot water in every room type

The place is comfortable, clean, only the towels need to be replaced because the color is dull, close to the mall and tourist attractions, complete facilities: wifi, smart TV, and toiletries, clothes hangers, mineral water

It's comfortable, the staff are friendly, but the quality needs to be improved. The sheets and towels are all a bit shabby, but the service is good. They wash the car, which is really helpful for those of us who come from out of town.

A hotel that is close to tourist attractions and has friendly employees.

The strategic location is beyond expectation. Nearly like neighborhood upon Quest Mall. Just only 5 minutes walk only. But, the cleanliness should be improved for bathroom. Smells was not good.

There's a free hotel car service that picks you up and drops you off at the airport and train station. Breakfast at the hotel had a different menu every day during my three-night stay.
