Overall, the family enjoyed their stay there. The kids had a great time swimming.

The hotel staff is very friendly and makes things easy during check-in and check-out.

Only 1 room access card was given, asked the receptionist and they said it was finished, while going up the elevator you have to use an access card. Quite inconvenient. The room view is quite good, Malang city streets, mountains, trains because it is near the station. Please be careful, there are 2 Ascent hotels in Malang city, I got lost going to the other Ascent hotel.

The room is comfortable. There is a swimming pool with a mountain view. The waiting lobby is neat and clean. There is a cafe on the rooftop. Breakfast is varied. Very close to Malang Kota Lama station.

This is the 6th staycation at Ascent, starting from when it was still called Balava. So far it has always been impressive. But since the lobby was moved downstairs, the FO service has been very inadequate, not agile, check in can only be done at 15.30 (we waited for more than 1 hour), FO communication is very lacking, leaving Go Food food in the lobby, but FO and security did not accept it, impressed in the balls. Hopefully it can be a review for Ascent to improve, the building is getting better after the renovation should be balanced with the staff service which is also getting better.

Almost every time I go to Malang, Ascent Premiere is always my choice. The location is not in the city center, but it is easy to reach. The facilities are quite good, the staff is friendly. It's just that during Eid/big days the price skyrockets. (Lower the price, Mr. Manager 😁🙏🏻). Score 9/10 👍👍

The room is okay, for that price. Just be careful if you put food on the table, the food will come very quickly. The cleanliness of the bathroom is also a bit lacking, maybe because the building is old and smells of urine. The car park is spacious but the back is very muddy, maybe because of seepage from the swimming pool water

The hotel is good. The location is quite strategic. The service is good, the room is also clean. However, the comfort of the room is slightly reduced because a lot of outside noise comes in. The sound of people and footsteps from the hallway and the next room, the sound from the station also enters the room.

rate 10000/100 overall good, the receptionist is also friendly and super nice. the room is okay, fragrant, the elevator is fragrant, everything is clean and fragrant. 4 nights here, no regrets at all. next time I go to Malang, I will stay at Ascent again🤩

The staff is very friendly, the variety of food is interesting, the room is spacious and there is a gym and swimming pool. Maybe it's a bit report when you want to go up and down the elevator because it requires card access where the card access itself is used in the room so you have to go back and forth to the lobby. But overall satisfied staying here.

in my opinion with the price I got with breakfast, and a 4 star hotel is too ordinary. tv is not cable tv, lots of ants. on the room table without chairs, even though I saw in other rooms, with the same type, there are chairs food is okay but for the black sticky rice porridge it is not cooked properly, the pecel vegetables have too much water sediment, finally the seasoning becomes bland. cleanliness is very okay

There is a cafe in the parking lot but it is not visible from the parking lot. It would be good to have a sign so visitors can know about it.

It turns out to be very close to the old Malang city train station. So I couldn't sleep all night because of the noise of the train, tut tut tut. Asked to move rooms to the receptionist but they didn't give me any other solutions. A bit disappointed. There aren't that many choices for the breakfast menu, but the taste is okay. I won't stay here again for that price. The plus is that there is a GMS on the 8th floor so on Sundays you can go to church first, but you can't request a late check out. Basically, there is no staff who can help you. The pool facilities are not very clean, the gym is still okay to use. But it's crowded, maybe because the gym is for the public too

It was very impressive because there was also a place of worship in the hotel.
