The condition of the building and surroundings, along with the availability of in-room snacks, exceeded our expectations based on the information we received. It would be better if the lobby door were made of wire mesh to prevent insects from entering, while still allowing for the fresh air.

Susan Spa & Resort is a peaceful retreat located a bit far from the city center — but that distance comes with beautiful views and a refreshing, cool atmosphere thanks to its high-ground location. The breakfast is one of the highlights, offering a wide variety of choices. However, it’s a bit inconvenient that guests can’t bring the food back to their rooms, and having an in-room dining option would make the experience even better. One downside is the presence of flies, not only in the dining area but also in the hotel rooms, which can be quite uncomfortable. The floor layout is also a bit confusing, and it takes a while to get from the lobby to the rooms. Overall, Susan Spa & Resort offers a relaxing setting and stunning views, but improvements in cleanliness and accessibility would make it a much more pleasant stay.

I've stayed here twice and it never disappoints. Ambiance/Facilities: Beautiful hotel, very cool and impressive. Food: Of course, the food is 5-star, everything is delicious, although pricey. Staff assistance: Prompt, responsive, and excellent. Highlights: Coincidentally, there was a lively wedding reception while I was staying, and I could see them in the chapel from the sky garden, with their fireworks display. Price: During high season, I got a relatively cheap room. The location is beautiful.

Disadvantages of Susan Spa and Resort: 1. The soundproofing in the rooms is very poor, which can be quite disturbing for guests during events like gatherings. The loud noise from the sound system can be heard in the rooms. Please be mindful of other guests staying there who need peace and quiet. Weddings are more polite, and the sound isn't so audible in the rooms. 2. Non-smoking policy. If the room is non-smoking, smoking should be prohibited in all areas of the room (indoors and on the balcony). Smoking is allowed on the balcony. The smell of cigarette smoke from the next room wafts into the room, and there are small children in the room. The goal is to enjoy the view and get some fresh air, but instead, the smell of cigarette smoke is noticeable. There's a designated smoking area on the third floor, but why build one if it's not used?

Of the several hotels we've booked, Susan Spa Resort is one of the most comfortable. The hotel atmosphere, restaurant, and staff are all very satisfying. 🤗. Keep up the good work!
