I have stayed at this hotel twice, which was also the first hotel I visited in Makassar. My first experience happened on December 31, 2017, when I booked through the Airy Room platform. At that time, I stayed with my wife who had just been married for two months. Now, on the same date, December 31, 2024, I am staying again with my wife and our child.
There are several changes that I noticed in this hotel. On my first visit, I felt that this hotel was very authentic, especially because of the welcome drink in the form of sarabak which was immediately served when guests arrived. The drink left a deep impression, I even asked my wife, "What drink is this?". However, now the welcome drink is only available in the restaurant at 19:00, so I didn't have time to try it because it was already late.
Another thing that left a positive impression on my first visit was the taste of the food at breakfast. In my opinion, the breakfast at this hotel, especially the fried rice, is one of the best compared to other hotels in Makassar. However, this time I felt a little disappointed because my favorite menu, waffles, was no longer available.
Suggestions and Input:
1. Welcome Drink: If possible, it would be nice if welcome drinks such as sarabak could be served again upon guest arrival, as this provides a unique and memorable experience.
2. Breakfast Menu Variations: It would be great if menus such as waffles could be presented again as a breakfast option, especially for guests who have good memories of the menu.
Overall, this hotel remains a comfortable choice and provides a pleasant stay experience. Thank you for your service!
