The room was clean, but unfortunately there were some baby cockroaches on the table. Staying on the weekend was very noisy because the room was not soundproof and there were lots of small children on the floor I stayed on.

I intentionally booked Kalya Hotel because I was going to Kotagede. It's very close to Gang Soka, Between Two Gates, the Tombs of the Mataram Kings, and Cafe Omah Kalang. The room was clean, but unfortunately, I got a room on the first floor so I didn't get a view, but it's okay. Overall, it's comfortable.

This hotel is really worth the price. I'm really sorry, but I have a few suggestions: maybe you could clean the outside windows of the hotel. They're really dusty, I swear I'm not lying. Also, please clean the dirt in the bathroom and the glass separating the shower and toilet. The bathroom floor and even the trash can are all cleaned more, because the dirt really gives the impression that the bathroom hasn't been cleaned. The room was comfortable and clean, except for the windows and bathroom. Everything else was great, the receptionist was friendly, and the breakfast food was delicious.

I think it's okay for that price, it works, although I haven't tried it with breakfast yet
