Bad service, not recommended.
The customer service staff didn't explain the hotel's rules and SOPs at the beginning. Smoking is prohibited in the rooms, so my husband didn't dare smoke in the room because he had children.
Our family of four (a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old baby) arrived at the inn around 10 p.m. from out of town. We were really tired and wanted to rest, especially since our baby was sick.
When my husband registered, the customer service staff didn't explain the fines for smoking in the room and that cigarette butts shouldn't be thrown in the bathroom or in the trash. Even though the registration form had rules, who would read them? We were resting.
And we didn't break them. We absolutely didn't smoke in the room or toilet. In the morning, my husband was smoking outside and threw his cigarette butt in the toilet trash. (He needed water to put out his cigarette. There was trash outside, but not for smoking.) So, he threw his cigarette butt in the toilet trash. Smoking is allowed outdoors, right?
When we were about to check out, we were fined for finding a cigarette butt in the room trash.
Even though we had been told not to smoke in the room, we had a baby and a toddler (they should have used common sense).
And we were forced to pay the fine even though we hadn't broken any rules.
The customer service team also refused to take the blame for not explaining the hotel's rules/SOPs from the start.
Furthermore, the AC wasn't cold, the mattress made my skin itchy, and the hot water didn't work.
I definitely don't recommend staying here.
The coffee shop was okay.
The service was bad, bad, bad, very bad👎
