The hotel is strategically located and convenient, very close to Losari Beach and CPI. Overall, the location is excellent, including the amazing sea view. The staff are also friendly. I stayed there for a layover.
Important notes:
1. On the second day of my stay, in the afternoon, the receptionist called me to move my room from the 16th to the 17th floor. I told them to wait because I was out. They offered me the option of helping me move my things, but I clearly declined. In my room, I had personal belongings like a bag, laptop, and some groceries. If I wanted to move, they would have to wait. I still refused to move.
I ended up confused. They asked me to hurry because repairs were due that afternoon for carpet installation. Did they think I was just hanging out?
2. A 4-star hotel planning a project like this should have been informed to guests at check-in, not just a sudden event. Shouldn't this kind of work have been planned well in advance and informed to guests in advance?
Not all of your guests are just staying in the room. And please be respectful of other people's time and schedules. We also had many outside work events while staying.
I've had experience at other hotels, and the communication wasn't as bad as this.
3. After getting a replacement room, I immediately went to another event. When I returned, I found the connecting room unlocked. Before leaving, I had already informed Housekeeping, but they didn't follow up.
4. The sink in the replacement room was clogged. Although it was eventually fixed, my schedule was completely disrupted due to the hotel's unclear planning and work schedule. Although the hotel is nice, with beautiful views, and friendly staff, it's still a 1-star rating, a bad experience.
