Hi!
My friends and I booked two rooms at this hotel.
Unfortunately, one of the rooms was awful. It was extremely humid, and when we wiped the bed frame with a tissue, it came away moldy and dusty. The sheets and blanket felt damp--almost wet, likely due to the humidity. We also noticed cracks and bubbling in the wall paint, which is often a sign of an aging building.
The other room was slightly better--it was still a bit humid, but at least the sheets were dry. We requested a room change that evening, but the staff refused. My friends asked for a compromise, so the staff cleaned the room and replaced the sheets instead.
If you're sensitive to humidity or prefer a well-maintained and properly cleaned hotel, I wouldn’t recommend this place. However, if these issues don’t bother you, this hotel could be an option since it's relatively cheaper than the average hotel price in Jogja.
Sorry, I don’t have any photos to show. At the time, I was too focused on getting my sheets changed to take pictures.
