MaxOne Hotel Dharmahusada boasts a strategic location, making it convenient for travelers. However, parking can be quite limited, especially during peak seasons. Upon entering the lobby, I noticed it was rather warm, as the air conditioning had just been turned on. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, always greeting guests with a smile. Check-in and check-out processes were swift and efficient, which was a pleasant surprise after reading some reviews that mentioned lengthy check-out times. The room was decent, although the lighting was a bit dim. The bed was comfortable, with four pillows, thick, clean, and cool sheets, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. However, the room's cleanliness and maintenance left something to be desired. The shower appeared dirty, and during a rainstorm, water leaked through the wall above the window, dripping throughout the night. Additionally, the room wasn't very soundproof, as noise from other rooms and the street was easily audible. To ensure a smooth experience, I highly recommend recording the room's condition upon arrival and before checking out. This will serve as evidence that the room was clean and in good order when you arrived and when you left.

I got an electric shock when I turned on the light. I slipped because the AC was leaking so the floor was wet. The bed cover was stained and torn. The room was not very clean. There were stains and dust.

Everything is good, only breakfast needs to be more varied, I've been to Surabaya twice and stayed here.

The Front Office staff is not friendly and not very helpful. The sheets, towels are already faded even though the room is not cheap, there is no ironing facility, the room floor is cracked, the wifi is often low speed.

The price is quite cheap, it's good, I've been back and forth to this hotel every time I go to Surabaya, but for my bf, the menu is just the same, not much, and in my opinion the taste is lacking, but it goes back to taste.

The receptionist was very helpful in the process and when needed. The staff at breakfast were also responsive. The cleanliness of the room was good and well maintained, the AC was smooth and cold. Only the placement of the room number is on the floor, not on the door like most hotels so for me who was a first timer to MaxOne, I was a little confused looking for a room. Not a drawback, just a heads up for guests who will stay to be more careful in looking at the room number on the floor in front of the room door. Thank you MaxOne 🫶
