Dec 23, 2025 Stayed 2 nights, room 707, 1 floor with the main lobby. The plus is no need to take the elevator for breakfast and swimming. Only thing is we got a room with a leaking sink. Because we didn't want to be bothered by maintenance, also felt it was a hassle to ask for a room change, so we tricked ourselves, asked for an extra doormat, but CS probably forgot my message before the room was cleaned, as a result the bathroom was often wet every time I used the sink. Hopefully it has been fixed now. Overall, I like the hotel which is kids friendly, integrated with the mall, delicious food, friendly staff, and of course free parking during my stay. Thank you Astra.

Stayed here for a staycation during a vacation, the swimming pool is spacious, ordered an ocean view unfortunately it was blocked by the building in front, the food is okay, varied and diverse, in the evening you can go around BSB with the vehicle provided by the hotel.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Hotel Astera Balikpapan! The service was friendly and prompt, from check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The room was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped—really making for a great rest. The location is also strategic, close to the city center and easily accessible.
