At first we were very disappointed, around 10 am we arrived at the hotel, but because the check in time was 2 pm so we decided to find lunch and continue our journey to visit tourist attractions. Around 4 pm we returned to the hotel for the check in process. We were escorted by a bellboy to the room, but it turned out that we got the room at the very end and it was very far for mobility from the lobby to the room. In the end we complained and asked to change rooms. It was informed that it was not possible because the room conditions were full. But because we were sure there would be more, in the end my husband checked one by one the rooms whose guests had not arrived which were much closer to our room. After my husband complained in a slightly high tone and said that we also work in the hotel world so we know the procedure for blocking rooms for arriving guests. If at the beginning the reception said that the nearby room had already made a reservation in advance, then what is the difference with us who had also made a reservation in advance and arrived earlier. With a tired condition, my husband's emotions were starting to rise. Finally we were able to move rooms. And see? It's possible! It is very obvious that the service for local guests is very different from that for expats. With a room price above 1 million, the breakfast menu has very minimal variations. It's very inappropriate! And the taste is bland! This hotel is only good for its cleanliness and swimming pool! Please pay more attention, especially for local guests. Because we also pay for our stay, not for free!

My mother and I stayed at Semabu Hills for a week to take full advantage of all Nusa Penida had to offer and fit in two days of scuba diving. The service was excellent and the staff very accommodating; Our hotel room was also comfortable and spacious. We couldn't have picked a better hotel to spend our time on the island.

Hotel is quite good, very nice view. Menu for dinner was super limited, 5-6 items only, even chicken was less then 4 pieces in stock. Staff friendly, nice location.

Semabu resort is perfect for honeymoon couples that seek great atmosphere and convenience. The rooms are facing the infinity pool that overlook Mount Agung, perfect for sunset. Free shuttles are available to pick-up and drop-off from the harbor and crystal bay, making it best value for money. We thoroughly enjoy our stay and recommend everyone to go here.

I arrived room at 10.00 pm and found that the water system did not work. I call to room staff and he can not do anything, cannot contact hotel engineering. So I wait till morning without water, cannottake a bath nor do anything. Bad impression.

Had the most pleasant stay here, at Semabu Hills! It seems that Semabu Hills is one of the most luxurious hotels in the Nusa Penida area. This hotel is highly recommended for honeymoon or family vacations. The rooms are super spacious, each room has its own living room, and the size of the bathroom is very spacious, although there is no bathtub. Wifi was also very smooth. The view out of the room is a swimming pool, with an info guide and a vast ocean. Very cool! In addition, the location of the hotel is also very close to the Fast Cruise port 👍🏻. The food is really good. Although it turns out there are foods that contain pork or bacon, but can request to be separated. But indeed NP transport is rather difficult, especially at night, so you don't want to have to eat at the hotel. The price of food is also not too expensive. They also provide a shuttle to the port and Crystal Bay. For honeymooners, you can also check their Honeymoon Package. Minus, the shower room is rather clogged, but it's not so disturbing. And 2 times find thousand feet in room 😅

The best hotel on Penida, perched on a hill overlooking the harbor. All rooms face the ocean, so you’re guaranteed an epic view. Each room is enormous with separate bedroom and living area with bar/pantry. There’s a large infinity pool in the center, and it’s the perfect place to chill and wait for the sunset. Breakfast is a la carte but huge portions. The hotel will take you to and from the hotel to the harbor or nearby town of Toyapakeh on a golf buggy which is available on-call. If you’re vacationing on Penida then you’ll be spending most of your time exploring the island, but this hotel offers a nice and comfortable haven to relax after a long day out.

The view of the majestic mountains is super nice with the infinity pool pool design, the room is spacious, the room facilities are great, the only food that I think is not in accordance with the tongue of Indonesia (when I eat fried rice), not yet other english names, I am satisfied overall. Thanks.
