This is condominium type of place, no front desk, no one to ask for any assistance, except the security guards at the entrance gate, which belong to an outsourced company and were very helpful, especially Jit. Upon my arrival it was raining heavily and I waited 10-15 minutes for the person who had the key to arrive, then he told me to wait some more while he phoned someone. I didn't read the important notice nor did I know I should call in advance (ridiculous since I already made and paid the reservation one week in advance, I am not going to make an international call to tell these people what they already know, that I am arriving on that day). The person that walked me to the room was not friendly at all and I started to get worked up on the way to the room, straight up he told me "you should have called" what? really? so what, I didn't, now what, are you my girlfriend? The room in the apartment was shared, which was also not clear during my reservation as I specifically was looking for non shared, I blame agent for this and for the calling before thing. Specify that there is no front desk at all! I was telling the guy about all this and his reply was "I think it's better you cancel" really? again some response..I would have just based on his attitude, if it wasn't raining heavily and if the place was not located in some condominium area with nothing but big apartment buildings for blocks. He also told me "actually I am in a rush" really again? I was pretty worked up at that point at the sheer incompetence and attitude he was giving me after waiting more than 30 minutes just to know what was going on. Internet was not working and the only way to contact this guy was Whatsapp (his number was displayed in the room), cool, so next morning I told the security people at the gate about the internet and left for the city (20RMB by taxi to the next area with some resemblance of city life). When I came back in the afternoon I asked Jit about the internet and he told me he had already reported it, presumably to the guy that handed me the key, cool, made it to the room and the internet was still not working. No phone in the apartment, no front desk in the building, and no internet....need say more? Apartment was great very spacious and so was the room, cleaning very good as well, and again security staff, very helpful even if they couldn't help with things outside of their responsibility. Day of my check out another person came to see if I was checking out, by one o´clock, I asked him about the internet (useless since I was getting ready to leave) and he told me that the provider was on holidays and couldn't fix it, alright cool so I stayed two nights in a place where you need internet even for the most basic needs and the internet was down. Next I will find a better location where I don't feel like I am stranded in the middle of a residential area at the mercy of employees with an attitude. Thanks to the security people for being helpful and kind. should change the information, place does not have a front desk or anything similar, the need to call the place in advance is ridiculous, how difficult it is to leave the keys with at the front gate if they already know the names of the guests arriving on that day?? Am I supposed to make an international call to a place without a front desk just to let them know I am arriving?? whose convenience are you catering to? the paying guest or the employee of the month?? Am I supposed to have internet on my phone upon arrival on a foreign country on a short visit?? or are hotels supposed to make sure their advertised services work and if not, to have the means to address a clients problems on the same hour, day? Make it clearer that the room is in a shared apartment. Make it clearer that the place is a residential complex without hotel services such as a front desk.
