Good place to stay. Quiet, beautiful, warm atmosphere.

It's close to Borobudur Temple (about 2 kilometers away), so getting there is hassle-free. Friendly, prompt service, easy check-in/out, clean, comfortable rooms, like staying at grandma's house, a functioning water heater, and easy access to convenience stores and restaurants. Please improve the breakfast menu, as it was lacking for me and my family.

The room is big, easy to access, breakfast can be delivered to the room, there is a direct view in front of the room, only the parking is narrow and the bed is not comfortable

Really good place with a lot of activities, near to Candi Borobudur. The lodges are good and the place is cute.

The view is top-notch, overlooking the rice fields, and then you can see the top of Borobudur Temple. Unfortunately, the pool is unusable due to maintenance around the pool, but we were offered to swim in a different place (villa, still under the same management). It's just a shame that the bathroom looks less than clean and basic. Please improve it so that visitors are comfortable. Thank you Gopalan🫰

Located behind Borobudur Temple. (Borobudur stupa is visible very close) The view of the green rice fields... very beautiful. There's only one thing lacking... Because the door is wooden, knocking immediately makes you startled. There is no bell.

The location is close to Borobudur, 30 minutes walk, 5 minutes by car, breakfast must be chosen the day before, views throughout the day of mountains and rice fields, before returning to the hotel at night, it is better to eat first, there are few places to eat around.

My 2nd experience staying in Gopalan. Love the chill atmosphere which is surrounded by rice field with the tip of Borobudur. Swimming, breakfast, or having afternoon tea with the view. The room was a bit dim (lack of lighting), but no big deal for me. The water heater sometimes didn't work. The staff are friendly and thoughtful. Also, enjoy the variety of BF menu.

The location is okay, very close to Borobudur! The room is clean, The a la carte breakfast is a bit small in portion.. Suggestion to give water.. it's really sluggish to eat, drink a glass of juice, no water at all 🫣

Comfortable, homey atmosphere.. with a distinctive Javanese cultural feel, back to nature, location next to the rice fields, view of Mount Merapi & Borobudur temple is quite visible. The hotel staff is also friendly. Suggestions for the curtains that are already beautiful, can be added so that there are 2 versions, the vitrage/transparent version & the closed version to maintain the privacy of each room. Very clean and comfortable. Swimming pool is in good quality and suitable temperature. Mount Merapi could be seen. Breakfast is fine, delicious, and simple. Very near from Borobudur.
