Friendly reception, very central location, decent rooms. Bathrooms are small and the breakfast is very basic (mostly prepackaged biscuits and juices).

We spent 4 nights in this room in the historic center, and it was truly worth it. Michele the owner is a very good guy, kind and helpful. He made us feel at home. He takes care of every detail and maintains the structure perfectly. The room was not clean, it was a mirror. The point is convenient for everything, means of transport etc. We had a really good time. Congratulations, and thanks again for everything. If one day we were to return to Alghero, we will return to Casa Machin, without a doubt.

Casa Machin is your place of trust if you are looking for good value for money (indeed, quite cheap) in the center of Alghero, clean and equipped with everything you may need. The owner Michele is a super helpful, kind and communicative person. He recommended lots of places and things to do long before we even arrived. Comfortable bed, large room with good and quiet air conditioning, soundproof windows, great shower and coffee and generous breakfast. Lots of restaurants and places to do on foot, bus stop for the airport and beaches within walking distance. Everything perfect. Alghero is splendor despite the heat wave
