Great view, easy access. Came to stay for a cardio health check up at Island Hospital (by grab around 6-10 rm). The breakfast food not many options and mostly carbs, the real protein is scrambled eggs. A few restaurant options around walking distance. Very clean rooms, have wifi, very very cold ac, bathtub, but no shampoo/toothbrush+toothpaste/soap so bring your own or by from next door. 100RM deposit (will be given back when checkout).

Fantastic experience, smooth check-in/out... Can't complain more for the rate I am paying. Parking can be a hassle, but the staff at the parking area are ever ready to offer help.

The room was actually quite comfortable, but the cleanliness really needs to be improved. Some of the pillows smelled bad, and the cleaning and housekeeping service were unprofessional. I asked for a bathroom mat because they hadn't been provided for several days. Instead, they gave me a bath towel to replace it.

The staff is nice and the location is very strategic. The downside is there's no bus stop. But if you're staying in a group and taking Grab, the bed is hard, but you get a beautiful ocean view room! 🥰

I decided on Hotel Malaysia because there was a room with 2 queen-sized beds, which is perfect for us. It was also more affordable compared to other hotels with the same type of room. We got there around 11.30am and we were able to check-in right away, which we appreciated. The hotel is a bit old but well-maintained. The room is spacious with spectacular view of the Penang Strait. It's clean and comfortable. The only chair in the room was falling apart though. There's a bath tub and we shower in the bath tub. Oh, you are asked to put in MYR100 deposit when you check in and it has to be in cash. I have to mention about the location. The location is superb. It's on Penang Road and basically a tourist area in Georgetown. It's near 2 markets, lots of famous eateries nearby, adjacent to other famous roads and streets like Lebuh Chulian. All within walking distance. We could not be happier!
