I like it here because the location is strategic, quite close to Malioboro, not far from other tourist locations.

So far everything is okay, the service is friendly, the room is clean and comfortable. Oh this, the food is really delicious, the breakfast menu is plentiful and complete. Most impressed with the security. when he knew our car was behind and couldn't get out, without me asking for help he immediately ran and said to wait a moment the car would be moved. Really fast, without us looking for him without asking for help he immediately helped.

1. Slow housekeeping service 2. Asked for a towel while swimming but was not given immediately, even if given the towel was wet 3. Room and bathroom were okay, good, clean 4. Breakfast had to wait list and the menu was already finished 5. Breakfast menu was delicious but not complete 6. Waiting list for staff was long 7. There is a cafe on the 8th floor so it was quite entertaining 8. Many of the building structures were peeling, the ceiling was full of holes 9. The sheets were quite dirty

In terms of facilities, it's okay 👍👍, what needs to be improved is the breakfast service, especially when it's full... there needs to be a "shifting/schedule" or time setting for guests to have breakfast due to the limited dining area, so guests can set their own time 🙏🙏🙏

Cavinton Hotel is located in a strategic area. Only about 1 KM from Malioboro. Can be accessed on foot. The hotel atmosphere is comfortable, hommy and the staff are friendly, also very agile in helping. The cleanliness of the hotel area and rooms is also quite good. We stayed for 2 nights. Initially booked from Traveloka for 1 night, but we decided to extend through the hotel directly. The food tastes good and the variations are quite a lot. We also had the chance to try the dinner package in the Shambala Resto area. Although the food variations are not as many as breakfast, it was enough to make us full. We also had the chance to try dinner at the Cafe on the 8th floor. The aura of Santorini is very thick. The food is delicious and there are quite a lot of variations. It's just that, the sambal matah (or Balinese sambal, I forgot) in my opinion is too spicy. But overall it's delicious. The fried bananas are very delicious. One thing that I should pay attention to, the towels we received both in the room and at the swimming pool, were already bad and had lots of threads hanging on the edges. We stayed for 2 days and for 2 days we received towels like that. Less impressive aura of a 4 star hotel. Also in the adult pool area maybe lounge chairs could be added, not formal chairs. So far our experience staying at Cavinton Hotel has been very pleasant. Very recommended

It's a reasonable walking distance from the world renowned Malioboro street, and that's a good thing especially when it comes to long weekends, when all the streets heading to Malioboro are jam-packed with tourists, international and domestic alike. The 1 km, 30 minutes or so walk could be tiring for some, but if in the end of the walk you are greeted by friendly staffs, go up to your floor, enter your very cozy room and throw yourself to your very comfortable bed, that's a distance worth walking.
