The location is very strategic, parking is quite spacious. There is only no security so that other than guests cannot go up to the upper floor. So it is a bit anxious at night.

It was a very nice experience. The lobby is spacious and clean. The food was plenty and delicious. Everything was excellent.

I have stayed at Santika in almost every city for more than 10 years. But the Gym facilities, although premium class, are very concerning, shabby and not air-conditioned, especially in Semarang.

At first I was confused about finding a hotel for a staycation. Finally I landed on HSP after much consideration. I want to review a few things about HSP: 1. The friendliness of the staff is BEST, and helpful. Starting from the security, receptionist, pool staff to the restaurant staff, thumbs up 4 👍 2. The room is clean and according to the order notes. I booked a deluxe king size, non-smoking and BIG NO to connecting room, thank God it was right, even a bonus street view and could see the direction of Simpang Lima. (Because I once got a connecting room in another hotel and the bed was in Hollywood and it was really uncomfortable) 3. The most positive review by people is the breakfast menu. It's really that delicious and varied. Honestly, choosing HSP as a place to staycation is because of the breakfast review, haha. Because usually breakfast in hotels is just like that. 4. The location is very strategic. Because it is in the center of Semarang, so if you want to find food/play, you can just walk. But there are still some drawbacks: 1. The room is not soundproof enough. Because HSP is near Simpang Lima and on a busy roadside, the sound of vehicles can still be heard in my room. Even though my room is on the 10th floor. This is what makes it uncomfortable, I wake up when I sleep even though the room is comfortable. 2. The elevator doesn't use an access card. The HSP building may have an old interior, but the elevator could be considered for replacement. Because guest privacy is the main thing 3. For the room entry system, I had to "fit" the card several times. Because it's a bit difficult to detect. So far, HSP can be your choice to stay when you're visiting Semarang. Hope it helps 😊

Although the hotel is old but perfectly well maintained, it's just that the TV channels are very very limited. The breakfast is delicious but maybe the variety can be added. The staff is very friendly, from the security to the front liners.

Fixed the room issue again, the upper shower didn't work, it was probably broken. Check in time was very long, almost an hour.

It's clean and comfy apart from the fact that the room felt a bit too humid and damp. Also, the light in the bathroom is a bit too dim. Great accessibility and it's within a walking distance to a lot of tourist favorites public spots like Alun-alun and Gramedia and Mall Ciputra Semarang. Even it's close to souvenirs shopping center. Would come again.

Suitable for peak season (Lebaran), because the parking facilities are quite spacious. Clean rooms, varied food, staff service from check in to check out is very good, friendly & informative.

Staying during Ramadan is very pleasant, close to the An Nur Mosque makes praying Taraweeh in congregation at the mosque easy.

I didn't expect an old hotel like this to still be so clean. The room layout is very comfortable and spacious. The food variety is complete. Access to everywhere is close. Parking is very adequate.
