Atlantic Hotel & Suites at 84 Oduduwa Crescent IKeja GRA Lagos .
My husband and I have been coming to this hotel since 2017. And in recent time (since 2022 ) we have seen a decline in facilities / maintenance . It requires significant improvements. The breakfast options and amenities are disappointing and in need of a complete overhaul. The staff's friendliness and the tranquil garden are notable positives.
I love the size of the rooms and bathroom which are very well cleaned and maintained. However, the bar /pool area needs enhancements such as additional fans or air conditioning and TV . As added value to long staying guest, It would be beneficial for some rooms to be transformed into studio units with kitchen facilities. Currently, the hotel lacks a proper dining area; the space designated as the reception should not double as a dining space. It weird trying to have your meals whilst people are checking in beside you .
The physical condition of the hotel also requires attention. During my stay, the beds broke on two occasions, and there were plumbing issues leading to a lack of water and non-functional toilets. The air conditioning units were dusty and contributed to health issues. Breakfast mostly consisted of noodles and eggs, indicating a lack of variety. Additionally, the garden and pool area need regular fumigation due to mosquito issues, and the outdated TVs should be upgraded to modern smart TVs. Overall, the hotel management needs to address these issues promptly to remain competitive in Lagos's bustling hotel market, especially given the higher standards of nearby establishments. Kudos to all the staff they are doing a great job however they can’t work magic and miracles . Management needs to do their part .
