It was fantastic, if I go to Kyoto for the 3rd time, I will book there again for sure, everything was perfect, only it feels strange that you arrive and there is no one in reception. Please write down and put it there that almost noone will be in reception except duting check in time to collect tax!

I understand that self check in/out is provided for customer-friendly needed. But somehow, I do think at least one capable staff should be around just in case there is a problem. I had a booking problem which is a mistake in chosing date to stay and there was a staff there would try to help me out of my problem. I came to the hotel to ask if there is a possible way to change the date of my stay. But instead of giving me info about that, he chose to cancel my booking. It actually took a long time just to cancel my booking, which I did not want to, because it was already night when I arrived in the hotel. The lack of language to communicate is the main problem. I just feel dissapointed because at that time I want him to give me info whether there is an available room for that night or not, but he just proceed my booking cancellation. And now I am still waiting for the refund process he told me without knowing the exact time. All of the hotel facilities are good, room is comfortable. I think only in the staff management, they have to improve.
