Booked this inn because I saw a friend's post review staying here, Overall this is the complete assessment: Plus; 1. The room is spacious, aesthetic and instagenic, it's really nice to hang out in the back, there's a fish pond to calm and relax, 2. There's a smart TV already included with the Netflix account, 3. Clean room, soft mattress, fast hot water. 4. You can order cafe food to take away and have it delivered to your room. 5. The staff are friendly and helpful, check in is delivered and no deposit is required. 6, there's a small refrigerator that works, there's a water heater and hair dryer. Minuses: 1. Wifi goes up and down, sometimes it's disconnected and sometimes it's slow. 2. The air conditioner in the upper bedroom doesn't work so it's really hot. 3. Breakfast at 7 am is still not ready, the contents are also not special for that room rate, 4. The location is in the village, there's nothing interesting around the inn, there's nothing, parking the car will be a hassle. 5. There is no TV on the bed above so you just sit there in a daze because the TV is below. 6. The hotel lock is a bit strange, it can be locked by itself from the inside, you have to call to open it manually. Overall, for the price of around 800 on weekends, it's okay once in a while, I will come back later, the experience is lacking.

Initially checking in was assisted by 1 officer who was less than communicative, I had to call several times to get check in service, after that we were directed to the room, we asked if we could change rooms in the corner, and were immediately answered "can't" even though we were guests just us, the reason the room was all still dirty, I said I wanted to wait if it had to be cleaned first, then the officer confirmed it to the office and we were given the room according to our wishes. When you enter the room, your shoes are not removed, please know that it is unclean to walk around inside, explaining that even though I as the customer take off my shoes, the amenities are also not complete and when requested, they are not delivered until evening, you have to ask the night clerk, the issue of breakfast is also not explained properly. so you have to ask the night clerk. The other officers are friendly and communicative, only 1 of them, please fix it.

It's crazy that I already have Netflix + an account, you can just watch it. The rooms are also clean. There was 1 thing that disappointed me, the breakfast was only served with a bland omelet + somewhat dry rice + bland lodeh vegetables which were only ready at less than 8 o'clock.

The location is a bit inside the alley. The service is just ordinary, usually if you stay for 2 days in another hotel on the second day the room will definitely be cleaned and the towels will be changed too, the room is okay, the breakfast is still not complete for the price of 1.3 million per night, in my experience staying at that price should be more complete and complete for the breakfast.

I've been exploring much of hotels jogja, and Smedi is best place I've stayed ever. If you just want to chilling out with do nothing in a day, just stay here is better better choice. You can just watch netflix at sofa, chill out at outdoor area you can see fishes there: D staff are so friendly, bathroom so good too 🤩.
