The front desk is very nice and helpful

We loved our stay at Il Capri! Not only was the hotel darling, but it was so conveniently located next to the funicular. Made it very easy coming from the ferry to get our bags up the hill and checked in. The staff were 5-stars, from check-in, to the bar to the porters. All went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. My notes on the property condition could partially be due to weather (some moisture in the room) and an old mattress. We had some drooping in the middle of ours that could be improved with a mattress topper or new bed. Other than that - I definitely recommend as a place to stay. We would return.

It took me ages to decide on which hotel to book. I made the right choice! It was easy enough to take the funicular and walk the distance to the hotel, if you want to save Euro 25 for a quick ride. Hotel has been renovated very tastefully. Breakfast was very good and the staff, especially Luca was just amazing. We loved it and if ever back in Capri I would not hesitate to stay in the same hotel again.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Il Capri Hotel. The staff was fabulous and we had a beautiful room with a balcony and incredible view. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and the bar. An added bonus was the high quality sheets and pillows!. Great location to shops and restaurants as well! We would definitely stay here again.

I was hoping for something much more. Staff was helpful but the hotel simply wasn’t what we were expecting It doesn’t have an elevator The pool seems beautiful in photos and once you get there it’s a shallow pool and for you to go to a restroom you have to go down 4 floors When we asked for body lotion they said they didn’t had that but you can buy one for 80€ I wouldn’t return to this hotel

Great hotel and location

This place seems to good to be true, but it is actually incredible. We learned on our trip that Capri is an island of traditions which makes newer places like this hard to gain demand compared to the older establishments. The staff were all very friendly, but I'd like to give a special shout out to Luca who made us feel like family. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and had the perfect honeymoon vacation.

Wow! Gorgeous old style property in immaculate condition in the heart of Capri village overlooking the sea! Room was classicly decorated and very comfortable, facilities impeccable and the staff, particularly Frederica who was so patient with all of my requests, was absolutely top notch and warm. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely return again and again!

This hotel was great!! Amazing location in Capri and so clean. We loved it. It’s just recently renovated and is very beautiful. The only thing I would say is that the communal areas (restaurants, bars, lobby, pool) are a little disjointed. They are not all in the same place- for example for the pool you must go to the roof but then to get a drink you need to go down 2 flights of stairs and over a bridge. The lunch restaurant is an area across the street. Also- something to consider-we barely saw anyone else at the hotel the whole time we were there- so it didn’t feel like a place to gather with others like other hotels do. Some may even feel that this is a good thing! Considering the fact that it is new- this is an excellent hotel- just depends on what you are looking for. Bed was comfy, breakfast included, staff was amazing and so attentive, and we loved the location!!

It is a great boutique hotel in the perfect spot in Capri. You can reach by taxi, the funiculare and the bus station are 2 min walk and the piazzeta right there. Breakfast was great. They don’t have elevator, though. Our room had the a gorgeous view but by stairs. They help with the luggage. Highly recommended

Beautiful belle epoche, quaint hotel. Very friendly staff, great “walk to many restaurants”location. Only drawback is lack of elevator, be sure to ask for lower floor as stairs are steep.

It is very nice hitel but much overpriced. Stuff is very nice, room is very beautiful, but breakfast very ordinary . No lift . But main thing- the feeling wa that they wanted more and more money from you. Even slippers put into your room were @150?Euros, Body notation - only for sale. But prices were not attached - so you do nit know how much it will be charged. Very noisy outside- so many tourists passing under your window.

Worst bed I ever slept on in a 5 star hotel

We loved the boutique property. The staff was very nice to upgrade us to a larger room without asking. The location was very convenient for dining and shopping.

Could not have picked a better place to stay. The design and ambiance was exquisitely curated with a Wes Anderson aesthetic. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the view from our room was unbelievable and location was a 100/100 super close to the funicular and piazza which made it easy to walk everywhere and also near the taxi and bus station. Our stay was memorable, I wish I could have stayed longer. Whatever you see on instagram that Capri looks like, this hotel is the epitome of that much
