from check in to check out the hot water was not on, even though I wanted to bathe the child with warm water because of the long journey, as a result the child was not bathed because the water was cold, poor child. for drinking water provided in the room is not 2 bottles of mineral water as usual in hotels, but using their own containers I thought it was a glass bottle turned out to be a plastic bottle and the bottle was already dull. the prayer mat provided is an old-fashioned slippery type, it is very unfortunate that a 4-star hotel provides a prayer mat like this and my active child slipped because he stepped on the prayer mat.

I stayed there for 2 nights…it was really disappointing because the hot water in the bathroom was broken even though the air in Bukit Tinggi was very cold plus it was the rainy season.. I called the receptionist several times but only got an answer that I tried until I finally checked out and moved to another hotel.. The breakfast menu was incomplete and did not match the price of the hotel..the food was very 2 not showing the worth of a luxury hotel. The food that should be authentic to the Bukit Tinggi area was unfortunately not provided..(traditional food) was not there The taste of the food was also below average.. I have stayed at this hotel several times.. Since it was still under Novotel management then replaced by Triple Three and finally Monopoli.. Unfortunately the management is not good.. As evidenced by the disappointing facilities I got.. Even though this hotel is an icon of Bukittinggi… The owner is the West Sumatra Provincial Government.. But the management that manages it is not capable Hopefully it will be a concern for the West Sumatra government, especially the City of Bukit Tinggi

Breakfast is only for 2 adults, children over 6 years old must pay IDR 60,000/person. It looks like an old hotel, the bathroom ceiling is not tight to the wall, the shower is not hot even though it has been waiting from 5 to 6 in the morning. When I tried the lupis, it turned out to be cold and the inside was a bit undercooked. The breakfast menu lacks variety, there is no lontong available, the side dishes are only sausages and 1 whole chicken. Booked a room for 2 nights, it turned out that the card key was only active for 1 night, the second day it was no longer active, the officer said he would deliver a new key but it was not delivered. The swimming pool is not good and not safe for children, parents must really take care of it.

The water heater didn't work until we checked out. The room wasn't very clean. The sheets had pen marks and the bed cover smelled musty.

the furniture and interior are a bit old-fashioned, need renovation. of the three rooms we took, only 1 room has a refrigerator. the sink has a hole and no filter. Not worth the exorbitant room price, maybe because it's peak season. the breakfast menu is delicious and varied.

The room is not good, dirty and the food is just okay. This hotel is only good in location, so if you want to go to Jam Gadang, just walk, no need to bother looking for parking, Tks

The public restroom was very dirty, possibly because it is open to the public. The check-in process was delayed by 35 minutes. The bar was also very dirty at night. The AC wasn't cold, the water heater didn't work, and the towel smelled bad. I hope the hotel can improve its facilities and consider hiring more staff. Overall, it's not as comfortable as it was under the previous management. I really hope Monopoli Hotel can do better.
