FAQ
Priority XP — stands for ‘Priority Experience Points’ — is a unit that we use to count your Traveloka Priority progress. So, the amount of Priority XP that you have will affect your Traveloka Priority progress & tier.
How can I earn Priority XP?
You can earn Priority XP by booking on Traveloka. For every IDR1,000 spent, you will earn:
- 120 Priority XP for Accommodations
- 15 Priority XP for Flights
- 40 Priority XP for Flights + Insurance
- 130 Priority XP for Travel Activities
- 1 Priority XP for Trains
- 10 Priority XP for Trains + Insurance
- 90 Priority XP for Bus & Travel
- 150 Priority XP for Car Rental
- 150 Priority XP for Airport Transfer
When will Priority XP be added into my account?
Priority XP will be added into your account & counted as Traveloka Priority progression 7 days after your booking is completed — for example, after you’ve returned from your trip or checked out of your accommodations.
Can Priority XP expire? If so, how long are they valid for?
Priority XP are valid for 1 year after their activation date.
What happens if I refund/reschedule a booking?
In order to earn Priority XP, you have to complete a booking first.
So, if you refund a booking, you won’t be able to earn Priority XP. However, if you reschedule a booking, you will still be able to earn Priority XP as long as you complete the booking.
Can I redeem Priority XP to pay for my bookings?
No, because Priority XP only acts as a unit to count your Traveloka Priority progress.
You can redeem Traveloka Points to pay for your bookings & get coupons.
Will using Traveloka Points affect my Traveloka Priority progress?
No, in the new Traveloka Priority program, your Traveloka Priority progress is counted only by the amount of Priority XP that you have. So, you can use your Traveloka Points without worry.
How much Priority XP will I get at the beginning?
The amount of Priority XP you get at the beginning will be calculated based on your transactions over the past 1 year.
The conversion process will be carried out in two phases:
- Transactions from 1 Apr 2023 – 30 Apr 2024 will be converted to Priority XP on 7 Mei 2024.
- Transactions from 1 – 7 May 2024 will be converted to Priority XP on 15 May 2024.
Transactions made after 7 May 2024 will be directly converted to Priority XP.
Will using discount coupons affect the amount of Priority XP that I earn?
Yes, because the amount of Priority XP you earn will be counted based on the transaction value that you pay.
For example, you make a transaction worth Rp1.000.000. Then you use a 20% discount coupon during payment. So, the amount of Priority XP that you earn will be counted from the transaction value that you pay after discount, which is Rp800.000.
How many Traveloka Priority tiers are there?
There are currently five Traveloka Priority tiers, which are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, & Diamond.
How can I upgrade my tier?
In order to upgrade, you have to do the required action for each tier, which are:
- Bronze : Sign up as a Traveloka user
- Silver : Complete 1 booking
- Gold : Earn 180.000 Priority XP
- Platinum : Earn 1.200.000 Priority XP
- Diamond : Earn 6.000.000 Priority XP
Can my tier be downgraded?
Yes, you will be downgraded if you didn’t do the required action to maintain your current tier (e.g. earning 180.000 Priority XP to remain a Gold Priority) before the tier validity expires.
Why did my tier change/disappear when I logged in to Traveloka App?
Please ensure that you log in with the same email before & after re-logging in, so the account data loaded is correct.
How long is the validity period for my tier?
Tier is valid for 1 year starting from the date of your tier change.
If I get upgraded/downgraded, can I still use the benefits from my previous tier?
No, you can only use the benefits available in the Traveloka Priority tier you’re currently in.
Where can I see my Traveloka Priority tier & progress?
You can see it in Traveloka Priority page, which you can access by tapping the Traveloka Priority widget in the homepage, or tapping the Traveloka Priority banner in My Account menu.
What are the differences between the old & the new Traveloka Priority?
Now there are five Traveloka Priority tiers, which are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, & Diamond. You can find the info regarding the new benefits & tier rules on the FAQ section.
Your Traveloka Priority progress will be counted by the amount of Priority XP that you have. So, now you can use Traveloka Points without worrying that it will lower your Traveloka Priority tier.
Will my current Traveloka Priority tier change with this new scheme?
No. Quite the opposite, you will maintain your current tier with a chance to upgrade based on your transactions over the past 1 year.
Why can’t I find the Traveloka Priority page?
Make sure you’ve updated Traveloka App to version 3.100 in order to enjoy the all-new Traveloka Priority.
I saw a special perk called Points multiplier. What is Points multiplier?
Points multiplier is a special perk that you can enjoy once you reach Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond tier. With Points multiplier, you are entitled to a few times more Points — 1,25x for Silver, 1,5x for Gold, 1,75x for Platinum, and 2x for Diamond — when transacting. For example, you make a transaction and earn 1.000 Points. So, as a Diamond Priority that has a special perk of 2x Points multiplier, you will earn 2.000 Points in total. This special perk takes effect on 8 May 2024 at 18.30 WIB.
- Traveloka Priority program is eligible for Traveloka registered users only.
- Minimum app version of 3.100 is required to access the new Traveloka Priority program.
- Users can only be registered to the Traveloka Priority program in one country.
- Users are not allowed to switch the Priority program country selection.
- Traveloka Priority tier is determined or calculated based on completion of mission and/or the total Priority XP owned by by users from an eligible transaction(s).
- Referring to Article 5 above, (i) completion of mission means the completion of users to carry out certain tasks, such as registered as Traveloka Priority Program, completing a booking and etc, and (ii) Priority XP means Priority Experience Points which is a unit that we use to count your Traveloka Priority progress.
- Transaction(s) made outside the registered country (based on user country selection settings) will not be eligible for tier progression.
- Traveloka Priority members will get rewards and perks in each tier, which can be used for transactions in Traveloka and/or partners as stated in each respective rewards/perks details.
- Traveloka reserves all rights to change or adjust the perks of Traveloka Priority from time to time without prior notice.
- Traveloka Priority rewards and perks are not transferable and convertible.
- Referring to Article 10 above, any transfer and/or selling of rewards and/or perks from the user to any third party(ies), or vice versa, shall be considered as a negligence of this terms and conditions and Traveloka shall not be responsible or liable for any claims, demands, losses, or damages made, claimed, or suffered caused by user's negligence or wilful misconduct.
- Each reward and/or perk has a different validity period and terms & conditions, by using the rewards or perks, users are deemed to have agreed with all the terms & conditions of the relevant reward and/or perk.
- Some perks and/or rewards might only be available for a limited amount of time, unless stated otherwise.
- Traveloka Priority tier is valid for a year and will be re-evaluated based on the total spending made for the past 12 months
- Traveloka Priority tier evaluation will be conducted every 12 months after the user reaches a new tier.
- Traveloka Priority tier will be downgraded if the total spending does not reach the minimum threshold during the tier evaluation.
- Traveloka Priority members can only access their current tier’s perks and rewards. The previous tier’s perks and rewards will be inaccessible and will not be carried over to the next tier if the relevant Traveloka Priority member(s) upgraded to the next tier.
- Traveloka Priority tier upgrade will be reflected for a maximum of 1 x 24 hours after the user meets the threshold and is eligible to move up to the next higher tier.
- Traveloka reserves all rights to change or adjust the tier mechanism, including membership upgrade and downgrade, without prior notice.
- Traveloka reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or cancel the Traveloka Priority program at any time and in its sole discretion without prior notice.
- Traveloka reserves the right to suspend any Traveloka Priority member if Traveloka determines in its sole discretion that a member has been indicated to have violated these Terms and Conditions.
