One of the best museum I ever visited in Indonesia. The museum renovation didn't change the original building architecture and the machine layout, so we can feel the real sugar factory vibe. The displayed information is very informative and educative. The facilities inside like toilets and cafe are super clean and modern.

During my last vacation I chose to go to the museum rather than to other locations that would not be so crowded, and it was true when I arrived there my child was very happy to enter the location because he saw many machines that were so big and had never found a machine that big, he was very excited when he entered the room, there was a miniature processing process and there were also interesting locations, it's just a shame that it didn't go anywhere because some locations were made for religious studies so it was only limited to a small area.

it was empty so it wasn't hot and I could enjoy my visit there. but I thought, they can be more attractive instead of just showing the old machines.

the place is okay for a museum date.. quite informative with history boards in every place.. the downside is the museum is too small so there is very little discussion, many places are not described completely like in 'Tungku'.. the restaurant is okay for drinks (because I didn't eat)

If you’re into history, specifically the Indonesian sugar industry, visiting Museum Tjoloemadoe is a must. The place is huge. It took me approximately an hour to stroll around. However, I wasn't satisfied with the information about colonial slavery, which was the key to the sugar industry back then. I think the museum needs to add some of its collection.

The redeem process is very easy. The staff wasn't too difficult either. But it turns out that the staff is not skilled or how I don't understand. I arrived inside but was chased by the counter staff, he said he hadn't redeemed it even though I was given an entry ticket hehe

The price was not worth the place. It’s enough to only enter the outdoor area, no need to buy the museum ticket
