Begin your day trip by meeting at the Milan Central Train Station. Take the train to Varenna (approx. 1-hour), a charming little village on the Lake Como, which is located right in front of Bellagio. Upon arrival, meet your guide and enjoy a short walk of the picturesque village. Pass through the labyrinth of narrow streets, some of which are built over the rock and cliff right above the water. Afterwards, continue on with your small-group as you drive to Valtellina, which is a valley located in the Lombardy region (northern Italy) that begins right at the top of Lake Como. An optional lunch is available at a traditional restaurant before passing through the scenic vineyards nestled in the lower part of the Alps. In the afternoon you will have the option to partake in a wine-tasting composed of wines produced in the area and accompanied with local cold cuts and delicious cheese. On the return back, enjoy various stops, which will provide fantastic panorama views. In the evening, your guide will drop you off at the train station so that you may catch your ride back to Milan.
